40k Chaos Dark Commune & Cultists: Unboxing & Build
These are the boxes we’ll be taking a look at today and run for $45 and $50.
Instructions
There are some small parts, but nothing seems to be very complicated at all, which is good. You definitely want to use the Tamiya Extra Thin Cement with the cloaks to help get rid of gapping.
There are a few options for the Cultists to give the champion some extra posing, but for the rest, they are pretty much just a single build. However, you can change the heads up which is nice.
Overall, they look super easy to build.
Sprues
The Dark Commune actually just comes with the one sprue, but there is a lot of detail, just not a lot to it overall.
The design of the cultists looks great but again, not much variety here. However, they are basically push-fit and super easy to build.
Assembled Minis
They actually look really awesome when all built up! There is just so much detail, and they are super dynamic.
Even though there aren’t many posing options, all the minis looked great.
While the Cultists don’t have a ton of options, they look great! It takes longer to clean them up and clip them off the sprues than it does to put them together.
Overall, they are super cool minis that will look great on the tabletop.
Size Comparisons
The Dark Commune models are actually quite large and pretty close to the size of a Primaris.
