Is The Lords of the Maelstrom Box Worth It?
On straight-up value, the Lords of the Maelstrom battleforce actually brings it. You get around ninety bucks in savings, so you’re basically snagging the shiny new Reave-Captain and those Red Corsairs upgrade bits as a bonus, which is exactly what you want if you genuinely need everything inside.
It’s also the first stop for the new minis, so you can get your raiding party on the table fast instead of waiting around. This is also a bit of a downside because if you already have plenty of Legionaries and Terminators, you’re probably better off waiting and grabbing the two new units as separate boxes when they drop.
