The new Space Marines Battleforce box release date is still TBD, but it will probably be on Black Friday, November 28th, 2025, like last year.
Similarly, we estimate the Space Marines Christmas box retail price will be $240 CAD$290 €190.00 £157.50, following the recent price increase (see below for local currency conversions).

Is The Space Marines Christmas Box Worth It?
In terms of raw value, the Space Marine Christmas Box has it! With over $150 in value, this is one of the highest we’ve seen! If you need everything in the box (or even most of it), this is a great way to get a force on the board quickly.
GW is doing themed boxes this year, and this one pretty much only has elite units, which could make this good for both new and veteran players. If you want a more standard army, this might not be for you quite yet.
All that aside, let’s just hope it doesn’t get allocated like some recent battleforces and plenty of people get to pick it up.
How Many Points Is This?
Based on the current edition of 40k, we would guess the Space Marines battleforce points are somewhere around 750 points. 40k never sits still, though, and with the latest points changes, that total might swing fast.
What to Buy Next?
If you’re grabbing the Iron Halo Strike Force, you’ve already got a solid elite core, but to stay sharp, you’ll want some board control and flexibility. Pick up a squad or two of Intercessors or Infernus Marines to hold objectives and fill out your troops slots.
Add a Gladiator Lancer or a Repulsor for long-range punch that pairs beautifully with your Dreadnoughts.
A Lieutenant with Combi-weapon or Apothecary Biologis can also help your elite units survive a little longer under heavy fire. Keep an eye out for the Crux Terminatus Battleforce as well, which is packed full of Terminators.
