If you’re the kind of hobbyist who refuses to be caught off guard when the next edition drops, magnetizing your new Terminators is basically mandatory.
The Crux Terminatus Battleforce is packed with big chunky armor, oversized hammers, and claws sharp enough to make a Daemon Prince nervous, and with a few well-placed magnets, you can futureproof the lot.
Rob went with 3/16-inch-by-1/16-inch magnets for most of the work; small enough to hide, strong enough to keep your weapons from drooping mid-battle.
Start with a tiny pilot hole using a thumbtack, then drill carefully with a pin vise or a motorized Wow Stick. A little patience here means cleaner fits later.
A dab of super glue and Insta-Set accelerator will lock your magnets in place. Spin a magnet stack to seat them flush, and double-check the polarity.
Once cured, you can swap between Thunder Hammers, Storm Shields, Lightning Claws, or Storm Bolters, even!
Now, let’s talk size. These new Terminators aren’t just reposes; they’re beefier in every dimension. The legs are thicker, the torsos broader, and they stand nearly shoulder-to-chest with a Primaris Marine.
