Games Workshop looks like they’re not stopping anytime soon, as there are even more rumors for factions in the months ahead. Check out the details.

Initially spotted on The Gaming Community by a user named LLV, he had been dropping rumors of what’s coming our way in the months ahead. Apparently, he’s been right before so his words carry a certain weight on the thread. Take it all with a grain of salt now while we look at the details.

The first thing LLV posted in the forum was:

Grot-tember, Ork-tober, rogue-vember, angron-cember…..

Grot-Tember

Supposedly, we’ve got some Grots headed our way in Age of Sigmar. LLV had this to say:

But Grots (note im saying ‘Grots’ because at this point based on what I’ve been told on the range im not even sure theyre ‘moonclan’ anymore) are happening very soon and I wouldnt be suprised to see them this weekend at Warhammer Fest Europe or at the latest Nova panel next weekend

As Grots are one of the oldest factions in AoS, could GW be molding all the Grot factions into one in an update? He did mention that he doesn’t even know their name aside from Grots. One thing is for sure, they definitely need an update.

Ork-tober

This is essentially a given at this point. We’ve seen GW preview Speed Freeks and they even used the word “Orktober” in one of their videos. We may know the Ork codex and Speed Freeks is coming but anything past that is complete speculation.

RUMORS: Prime Ork Spotted in Latest Speed Freek Preview?

We still have yet to see a better look at this model in the back-left but as of right now, the community looks to be chalking it up as a Prime-Ork.

Rogue-vember

Rogue Trader finally got some clarification earlier this month with GW coming out and saying that IT IS a part of Kill Team and they can even be used in Skirmish games with other factions. The latest preview so far shows a little bit more backstory and setting of the boxed game.

Looks like we can expect to see more on this game sometime in November.

Angron-cember

Angron lore

This is one we’ve just covered. By the sounds of it, Angron and Fulgrim are both up for the December slot for releases but we aren’t sure which one we are going to see.

Someone asked LLV what kind of release Angron will get in December.

Q: do you know if Khorne is getting much else with Angron in December? Or is it only a small release?

A: I heard angryron will be bringing some crazy fellas with chain axes and some puppies with him

It would make sense for GW to pack a Daemon Primarch along with some of Khorne’s staple units into one release during the holidays. People have cash and they’re ready to spend it around that time. There are a few things to be skeptical over, however.

We haven’t really seen any rumor engine bits that looks “Khorney”. On top of that, it seems like there hasn’t been a whole lot of lore advancement in 40k pertaining to Angron. There was a blurb in the main book where some cultists tried summoning him and they were about half-way through the process before being stomped out by the Imperium.

Don’t Forget About Fulgrim

fulgrim RUMOR: More Daemon Primarchs On The Way For 40k!

Fulgrim has been the spotlight of rumors lately as well. Supposedly his model is already finished and they did testing of his model on Morathi in AoS.

See the resemblance of the snake-body and wings? But wait, there’s a lot more.  We’ve got some Rumor Engine bits we’ve seen in the past that may point towards a Slaaneshi figure.

Slaanesh doesn’t skimp on elegance. This could be the top of the Headdress that Fulgrim is wearing in his ascended state. The horns and a big gem in the center just give the Slaanesh vibe.

This Rumor bit is still hot off the press and when you compare it to Fulgrim’s lower torso in the art above, you can see some striking resemblances.

Lastly, the markings on these scales wouldn’t be something to put past Slaanesh. The actual body part in the bit must be the end of a long tail because of how thin it really is.

As for lore advancement, it sounds like Fulgrim left his pleasure world to go deal with some Imperial Guard.

So who could be showing up first? As we come close to the holiday season, it’s a matter of sitting back and watching. GWs schedule has been hectic as they’ve been spewing out new releases. Who knows if they’ll switch the release dates of both of these Primarchs around.

What do you think about these rumors? Would you like to see Grots as one big faction in AoS? Will you be using the teams in Rogue Trader in Kill Team as well? Which Primarch do you think we will see first? Let us know in the comments of our Facebook Hobby Group.
