The French have had ENOUGH of all the drama going on in the galaxy. They came in a stronger than WWI at the latest Beats Lab Tournament.
The Beats Lab 2k point tournament was a blast and there was an army that won “Best Painted.” Can you see why? Take a look at this stunning work of art that turned heads on the tabletop. This is a Guard regiment like you’ve never seen before.
First to the Fray
Starting off with the masterpiece above, the first thing that moved up from the rest of the army were these Riders of Krieg. The entire army is standing on a field of fallen blossoms and the color scheme is remarkable.
Firepower was not lacking in this list. Try one massive Knight and two Converted Warlord Helverins to escort it where it needed to go.
The tanks are actually on large bases with trees as decoration. The petals are falling to the ground from those trees and when everything is close together on the display board, it looks like a horrific, but beautiful scene. Guardsman marching into certain death atop vibrant leaves and blossoms.
While the Death Riders ran up the field, Tanks and heavy artillery stayed back and lobbed bunker-busting firepower at whatever needed to go.
Mortars were dug in behind the tanks and trees and blew screens away as the riders got closer and closer to making their charge. Look at all the beautiful shades of blue and pink massed together!
It’s no surprise that this army won the Best painted award. So much time and effort have gone into the masterpiece. It’s definitely inspiring to others for putting their own twist on 40k factions.
Great job to the proud owner of this army! What are your thoughts on this list? Do you have a unique Guard regiment?
