It’s plastic! Check out the latest on the brand new Chaos Noice Marine for Warhammer 40k as we break down what is coming next for Slaanesh!

We know Slaanesh brought back one of the Marines from the 1980s at the Vigilus Open Day, all new and improved!

Question is, how easy will it be to purchase?

Last year, GW came out with a “Boxing Day” mini. This mini gets sold exclusively the day after Christmas and if you remember Sly Marbo was originally a Boxing Day mini, for example.

This Noise Marine, however, looks going on sale before Christmas on the 22nd.

So what’s going on this year for Boxing Day? Is the Boxing Day coming early? Let’s break down the latest.

Sly Marbo successfully infiltrated Games Workshop stores last Boxing Day.

The latest rumor comes from Lord Perversor on Dakka:

Adding a little snippet of info my local Redshirt told me today there is at least 1 maybe 2 exclusive models that may show up before Xmas (he said prolly for the 26th since they have some kind of huge season event in store) but he’s still on the dark about the true nature of those.

His personal bet and hope it’s the already previewed Sister miniature.

Going off of the exclusives we’ve seen this year, could this be not just one…but TWO new Primaris Lieutenants? We don’t have enough yet.

In all seriousness, what could these exclusive models be? Let’s think about the timeline. Chapter Approved will is supposedly right around the corner in December, when Boxing Day finally arrives and the BETA Sisters of Battle codex will be in it.

Could we see a new Sisters model pop up then to help get the GW hype train started?

This was the first Sister model previewed by GW, as a proof of concept piece.  Would it make sense for this model to pop up…especially with the Sisters beta codex looming?

The 1980s called. They want their Noise Marine back…but we’re not giving him up. This Noise Marine was a welcome surprise at the Vigilus Open Day. There’s been talk of Noise Marines coming back for a while now, but nobody thought it would be a model quite like this.

With that being said, we doubt GW will come out with a box-set of ten of these guys…at least with this model.

Coming from Faeit, we’ve got new pictures of the unpainted model and the sprue.

Do you want to talk about a flashback? The model is standing on the classic green basing from way back in the day. However, he is standing on a Primaris head.

And here is a Photoshopped pic of the sprue to show the full detail from the front:

Starting off, we can tell that the model is most definitely plastic. In the past, these exclusive minis have almost all been cast in resin (except some of the store exclusives starting in 2018). On top of that, this mini is supposed to hit its full release on December 22nd, 2018.

That’s well before the usual Boxing Day date.

So all that being said, What do you think the occasion is for a model like this? Would you like to see a Sisters model offered before their general release in late 2019?
