Don’t miss this one! What looks to be a new Space Marine  Iron Father / Techmarine has been revealed for the highly popular Primaris line!

Warhammer Community just announced that the Iron Hands will be getting a gorgeous new Iron Father character later this year.   Let take a look at all the latest Space Marine rumors to see where this model may fit in…

According to an industry insider, the White Scars are the next Chapter to get a Codex. Some of you might have heard that it was the Imperial Fists, but there’s been no such mention of their name at least to us.

  • White Scars To Get Chapter Book
  • Arrival Late Summer Early Fall
  • Combined Release With New Primaris Models

Now you might have heard in the past that GW has tested some of their ideas for 40k on concepts in Age of Sigmar. Check out what we’ve noticed.

Now, looking at 40k in 2019, we have the Vanguard Primaris. What do they do? Well, they intercept the enemy advancement by having the ability to infiltrate. Their rules and psychic powers are designed to cause as much disruption as they can before the rest of your force can arrive to help! Looking at the Vanguard Palladors below, they are fast mounted cavalry.

Next up we have been seeing all sorts of Rumor Engine pics for what could be anything from a new Space Marine Jetbike to even a Primaris hovercraft…

Which does seem to follow along with the “Beta AoS” to Primaris path to market that we have seen, right down to the fast mounted cavalry that we currently have no match for in Warhammer 40k.

These latest rumors also seem to fit this trend as well, plus have the added benefit of also being the primary order of battle for the White Scars Chapter of Space Marines.

  • A close-combat designed Primaris unit with different weapon options. (These could be the Terminators of Primaris units).
  • Some kind of Primaris Tank kit with different main turret options. (This could replace the Predator)
  • New Fast one-man vehicles similar to Bikes/Land Speeders.
  • A Primaris Medium Transport. (something cheap with a decent carrying capacity could work)
  • Small Primaris Flyer

Fast forward to the latest preview from Games Workshop and this new Primaris Iron father is on deck for later in the year:

We think it’s safe to say the wait was worth it! This named Iron Father will be hitting shelves (and your opponents) later this year…

Question is what new release will be accompanying this model? Perhaps a new Space Marine 2.0 Codex similar to Chaos’ along with the multipart kits from Spadowspear? Or perhaps this new Character will be part of the rumored Primarch Starter Box fighting Lion El’Jonson and the Dark Angels?

Either way, whatever release this Iron Father accompanies, Marine players are sure to rejoice!
