Mr. Hobby Weathering, Black
Today we are bringing out some secret tech with a brilliant product. Our technique is a weathering solution, which is an oil paint paired with a solvent. The Mr. Hobby Weathering Color is a product you can use to get some great dirty, grimy weathering on your painted models. Best of all the oil seems to be organic and friendlier to use that normal oil stains and washes.
Next, grab your Mr. Hobby Weathering Color to paint in the darker parts of your model. If it ends up too thick, get some cotton swabs soaked with their thinner to remove some excess staining from your model.
You can go back and forth adding solvent to remove excess weathering and then add more if you choose. Get your painting exactly where you want with this system.
Use a reverse streak technique from the bottom of your shadows to keep your painting tight. When using oil paint, keep a few brushes handy just to use with oils. This can help distinguish between oil paint brushes and acrylic paintbrushes.
Get in your hobby game with some weathering effects for your painted models. Mr. Hobby has some amazing products to help make your painting look incredible.
