Krafty Orks Are Krafty: ATC Ork Knight Showcase
Coming from Dan Woods This Orkish-themed Knight list turned heads on the tabletops at the ATC. From bright colors to insane conversions, each of these models is a work of art.
Looking at the first Knight, Tires and the classic Steel Jawbone were added for extra protection and WAAAGH! energy. At least, that’s what the Big Mek told everyone.
Moving to what looks like a dakka Knight, all kinds of bits were thrown onto this contraption to make it work. You have to remember, Orks are in the business of looting whatever they can get their hands on. That doesn’t mean that they take down their enemies in the cleanest way possible. Really, wherever there was critical damage, they just threw on some tires for extra padding.
Castellan-Train Engine Knight!
Looking at the next Knight, its legs were blown completely off and replaced with a train cart. A few Orks thought it was the perfect spot to shred their guitars in the heat of battle as well. Taking a step back from this model as a whole, there are Castellan bits, Morkanaut bits, and even Khorne Daemon Engine bits strewn all across this model. Talk about having a serious vision and bringing it into reality!
Finally, the most top-heavy Knight of all comes from a Gorkanaut that had its lower half replaced with an Ork Trukk. As long as they don’t pull any sharp turns, everything should be okay.
Finally, looking at the two HQs behind all of this creativity, these Big Mek Enginseers are grinning away behind a gang of Death Korp themed Orks.
One thing is for sure. This player’s hobby muscles must’ve been worn out when he finally completed this amazing project. But this was just one of the hundreds of beautiful armies spotted at the 2019 ATC! Looking at all of the conversions, which Knight was your favorite?
