Death Korps Tank Column: LVO Army Showcase
This Imperial Guard list had bodies on top of bodies backed up by an unshakable armor column. Rocking the classic Death Korps blue drab, let’s get a closer look at the hobby detail.
Right away, the coolest model in this army is the Commander next to the hologram table of the map. Beyond that, the level of basing detail on each T3 unit is insane!
While the tanks volley fired their cannons, Bullgyrn with massive shields marched ahead and beat things down with near auto-cannon profiled melee weapons.
As for the rest of the list, these brave Kriegsmen sat on objectives and threw themselves in front of harm’s way to keep their tanks firing. One awesome hobby detail that should be mentioned is that each lasgun/optic is highlighted with a bright, glowing blue. It’s a small detail, but when you step back it adds a whole new level of detail most other hobbyists wouldn’t spend time on.
Overall, great job on the minor details! From incredible basing to superb crisp paint jobs on the tanks, this army is definitely one to be proud of. What do you think about this list? What is your favorite Leman Russ variant? How many Bullgryn do you run in your list?
