The Cult Arises! LVO Army Showcase

LVO GSC 1

Genestealer Cults grabbed what they could of some Imperial Guard firepower and backed everything else up with a horde of Genestealers and Aberrants. Looking at the army as a whole, there are tons of little bodies that are bent on spreading the Xenos seed! Now let’s dive into the detail!

Patriarchs were the mastermind behind the whole operation. Their character keyword protection and monstrous rending claws make them amazing tank hunters on top of being the center of a Cult’s existence.

As for what some of the firepower that the Cults could muster, a Wyvern, Manticore, and Basilisk made up most of the indirect firepower out of the list.

Genestealers on top of Genestealers also hit the field sporting a classic alien-purple paint job. These guys are insanely fast and while they cost a bit more than normal Tyranid Genestealers, these can pop up only inches away with the blink of an eye.

Finally, for the manpower of the list, these old Genestealer Cults Neophytes gathered en-mass to follow whatever the Patriarch’s bidding was. While each one of these models is only T3 with a 5+ Sv, there was some serious hobby love put into these guys. Just check out the details on the basing alone!

All in all, this Genestealer Cult list brought a unique force out to play running more than one Patriarch as well as some artillery we don’t see too often in Cult lists. But with that said, everything was looking top-of-the-line for the hobby! What do you think about this GSC list? How many Patriarchs do you run?
