New GW Rumor Engine Spotted: Santa Orks Boots?

gw rumor engine

Here on Christmas Eve, GW gave us another rumor engine to sit on while we move into the new year. Check out the latest bit spotted!

Warhammer Community dropped another rumor engine right on time during the holidays showcasing a bit that uses classic Ork pieces along with something that looks to be a little festive. We may have a new holiday model hiding right under our noses.

New GW Rumor Engine Spotted: Santa Orks Boots?

rumor engine 12-24-2019Being aptly named “The Christmas Engine”, it honestly looks like an Ork version of Santa…except we can only see his feet. As far as classic Ork bits go that we mentioned above, if you look at the steel-toed boot, here are jagged spikes bolted in. This is something that fits the bill perfectly for Orks in both Age of Sigmar and 40k.

Best 2016 3 OrrukMegabossWe say the bit might also be part of something bigger like a Santa Ork for two reasons. #1, it’s been called the Christmas Engine. And #2, the boot has some wool fuzz nearing the top, looking exactly like Santa’s poofy outfit.

santa grot wal da red gobboWe saw Da Red Gobbo earlier this year sporting Santa’s attire with a few other Grotty touches. But there could be more on the way in the form of an Ork or Ogor. While Christmas is right on top of us we may not have to wait long to see an official preview on this bit.

What are your thoughts for what’s on the way? Would you like to see a Santa Ork? What’s he standing on top of? Will he come with a looted sleigh?
