If you’re an Orruk player and you’re happy with your Battletome, you might be even more happy to know that new Warscroll Battalions were spotted!
Spotted on Sprues and Brews, there are three new Ironjaw Warscroll Battalions making their way into the game from what appears to be this month’s White Dwarf magazine. The cool thing is that they’re all focused around a named Orruk that GW sort of brought back and gave support to (With that said, this named character doesn’t have his own official model and probably won’t be getting that from GW).
Let’s jump into Dakbad Grotkicker’s new Warscroll Battalions!

New Orruk Warscroll Battalion AoS Rules SPOTTED!

On the flip side, bringing massive blobs of Brutes might be a bit cheaper and you’ll be getting way more attacks in the long run.
Moggorz’s Rekrootin’ Krew

Since the Orruk Brutes/Ardboys aren’t technically full-fledged Ironsunz Boyz yet, they don’t benefit from the Ironsunz Kunnin ability from above. However, because they’re trying to prove their worth, they completely ignore battleshock tests. This can serve as a nice secondary battering ram in your list that you don’t mind throwing into a big scary enemy unit. If you need to tarpit something or just not have to worry about your potential losses as much, a couple of chunky Aspirant units can be a nice tool to have.
Dakbad’s Brawl

Just a reminder, the Waaagh! command ability isn’t the same as Da Big Waaagh! that eats up all your Waaagh! points. However, it works similarly in that it adds attacks to friendly units within a certain range. But truly fitting to the Ork style, all their tricks are based around being more and more killy.

And there you have it! After looking at all the new surprise Ironsunz support, you might have to grab a couple of new kits and make some minor conversions to show that they’re Dakbad and Moggorz!
With these three Warscroll Battalions previewed, which one will you be experimenting with in your games? Will you be taking Da Bossfist and calling Da Big Waaagh! to give almost everything +2 attacks?
