More new GW releases have been spotted headed towards their warehouses for specialist games Adeptus Titanicus and Necromunda!
From the latest port scryings there looks to be some kind of card release on the way for a few of GW’s specialist games. Take a look at what we’ve highlighted that might be on the way to Adeptus Titanicus and Necromunda.
More New GW Releases Spotted: RUMORS
First up, we’ve got the Adeptus Titanicus info highlighted in red. The first two letters in the product chain are “A T” which can only make us think something for Adeptus Titanicus. On top of that, it’s description title is listed as Defence of Ryza Stratagem cards.
We already know that Defence of Ryza is the latest expansion to be introduced to the game as well. With new Legions hitting the field, it only makes sense that we would also see some Stratagem support also come to the book as well. We know that historically, GW likes to print off card packs to make the content easier to use too. Just look at all the Datacard packs in 40k. As far as everything goes, we can also see 550 packs were included in the shipment which says a lot for one of GW’s smaller, more niche specialist games.
What Could Be In It For Necromunda?
Necromunda has really kicked off strong since its revival. New gang models are constantly being added. Most recently, we’ve seen GW begin to go back over their gangs with new supplements. We just saw Goliath get their support and now,Escher is getting the spotlight for House of Blades. So what’s the other card pack to hit the port?
Well, we’ve got OPEN HIVE WAR cards at 72 packs tagging along underneath the Titanicus stuff. It’s difficult to say what those cards will look like exactly. But knowing that we do have a lot of Necromunda support coming down the pike, it wouldn’t be surprising to see some Open War-style release similar to 40k’s Open War deck hit Necromunda.
To be fair, most of Necromunda’s supplement missions are very backstory/campaign oriented. GW could potentially be making it easier for people to throw a game together. Obviously, without having to read through pages of content that they don’t really need if they’re just doing a skirmish.
We also saw some terrain kits hit the ports a while back but it’s too early to say for certain that these two have anything to do with each other.
