If you watched the movie as a kid you remember the epicness and sadness of it all. The show itself was amazing but the movie took it to a whole new level. The new figure from Hasbro captures the character perfectly and looks pretty epic! They even made the figure in a dark paint scheme, because when he died in the movie all his color drained out from him, as the Matrix was passed.
The new figure is over 7″ tall and transforms from a robot into a semi-truck without too much hassle. If you’ve been looking for a new figure to boost your collection, look no further!
Death of Optimus Prime Action Figure:
They really did a get job on the action figure! There are all kinds of details packed in while staying true to the movie and the color scheme is perfect for the death scene. If you love all things Transformers, go check out what else is going on!
The trailer also serves as a diorama, or if you into the realness of it all, his deathbed.
The Transformed Model:
Even as a truck this model looks really cool! Not sure how often you’d rather have him this way but makes playing with it all the more fun. It is a 35 step process to convert it between the robot and truck version, that seems like a lot, but that means all the more moving pieces to make cool poses.
