magic-30th-Anniversary-black-lotusYou can crack a Black Lotus for free with the new 30th Anniversary Magic Pack Opening Simulator that’s honestly a lot of fun!

We had talked a little while ago about the $1000 packs available for the 30th anniversary of Magic the Gathering.  Players and collectors alike had many things to say about the packs, not only the price but the fact they are actually not tournament-legal and more or less proxies.

Now you can see how much it would have cost you to crack open that super-expensive card Black Lotus, a piece of Power Nine, or a Dual Land for free!

Crack a Black Lotus With This Magic Pack Opening Simulator

This simulator lets you do just that, crack packs of 30th Anniversary Magic Cards, and play around with the numbers until you get a good opening!

Magic SimulatorWell, we obviously went big to start! It only took us $37,962 to open a Black Lotus, not too shabby considering it took other people over 50k to reach the card.

It just is cool to see how many you would theoretically have to open to get it!

Magic Simulator 2

We must have got lucky on this pull as we got all power 9 for only $40k, what a steal! Just kidding, but this thing is super fun to mess around with and pull packs.

Magic Simulator 3

Acquiring all the rares is quite a feat, as it took nearly $200,000 to get there! If you want every rare in this set, it might just be better to grab them as one-offs over a really long time.

Magic Simulator 4

You can also just go with 4 packs, but it doesn’t feel very good when you only get one power… Who knows though, maybe this will be your lucky day and you get a Black Lotus right away.

So, if you don’t feel like spending all that money on a collector’s pack, maybe go give this a try instead and save yourself the $999!

Check out the simulator here, and try you luck!
