Here are all the updated Warhammer 40k Boarding Patrol box sets value and pricing in our start collecting 40k savings breakdown with the latest price increases.
The value for these are all over the place, but we already know they will not be priced the same, as the CSM and GSC boxes are more expensive than the Space Marines box. So, we expect the lower-value Boarding Patrol boxes to go for $110 and the higher-value boxes to go for $125 to $140, but we’ll have to see.
Currently, while we know the prices for most of the boxes, we’ll also have all of the new boxes listed, value-wise, for you below! One more thing to note, these are all valued with the updated 2023 GW pricing.
If you missed it, we look at the latest pricing and values of the new Warhammer 40k box sets, besides the Boarding Patrols, in separate posts below:

Best Warhammer 40k Arks of Omen Boarding Patrols Value & Pricing: Updated
These are sort of like small Combat Patrol boxes made specifically to be fielded for the new Boarding Actions. So, expect them all to have a lot of foot sloggers. And at this point, it feels like GW will make a box for every single faction out there.
Space Marines Boarding Patrol Box $110
Get yours for less from these retailers:| Amazon | Dicehead Games | Bazooka Games | Frontline Gaming | Element Games (UK) | or | eBay |
The Emperor’s finest are the prime bulwark against Abaddon’s nefarious schemes, and this Boarding Patrol is typical of their brutal efficiency in such matters. You’ll be able to face any foe with a highly customisable Primaris Captain in Gravis armour, five Heavy Intercessors, and 10 Assault Intercessors.
We thought that these were meant to be more like the current Combat Patrol offerings that retail for $160. However, as you’ll see with the value below, that’s really didn’t turn out to be the case.
- 5 Heavy Intercessors $65
- 10 Assault Intercessors $60
- Primaris Captain in Gravis armour $40
Total MSRP: $165
Savings versus $110 box price: $55
Right off the bat, you can see this has a much lower value than the Combat Patrols. However, we’re happy GW didn’t go for the $160 price tag.
Chaos Boarding Patrol Box $125
Get yours for less from these retailers:| Amazon | Dicehead Games | Bazooka Games | Frontline Gaming | Element Games (UK) | or | eBay |
Abaddon spearheads elements of his current campaign in person, and so the Chaos Space Marine Boarding Patrol includes the Despoiler himself, 10 Chaos Space Marine Legionaries, and 20 Cultists for you to cherry-pick your own patrol from.
- Abaddon $65
- 10 Chaos Space Marine Legionaries $65
- 20 Cultists $100 ($50 for 10)
Total MSRP: $230
Savings versus $125 box price: $105
Even at $125, this still has more value than the Spaced Marines box, so if you need Abaddon, this might be an excellent way to get him and save some cash!
Tyranids Boarding Patrol Box $125
Get yours for less from these retailers:| Amazon | Dicehead Games | Bazooka Games | Frontline Gaming | Element Games (UK) | or | eBay |
Two squads of three highly customisable Tyranid Warriors provide an adaptable, formidable core to claim the Ark. Meanwhile, eight fast-moving Genestealers – fielded as a squad of five – act as an insidious vanguard to a towering Broodlord.
- 6 Tyranid Warriors $120 ($60 for 3)
- Genestealers $40
- Broodlord $45
Total MSRP: $205
Savings versus $125 box price: $80
While this doesn’t have quite the value of the CSM box, this is still better than the Space Marines one at the higher price tag. So if you need the minis inside, it’s a decent pickup.
Necrons Boarding Patrol Box $125
Get yours for less from these retailers:| Amazon | Dicehead Games | Bazooka Games | Frontline Gaming | Element Games (UK) | or | eBay |
The backbone of this Boarding Patrol are 10 Necron Warriors, a hard-to-shift line of self-reviving metal skeletons. They advance alongside 10 stalwart Lychguard – you can also build those models as Triarch Praetorians, but they’re not usable in Boarding Actions. Three Ophydian Destroyers add a lightning-fast melee threat to the mix, accompanied by their Canoptek Plasmacyte.
- 10 Warriors $50
- 10 Lychguard $110 ($55 for 5)
- Ophydian Destroyers $60 (including Canoptek Plasmacyte)
Total MSRP: $220
Savings versus $125 box price: $95
This has insane value, and we’re not sure why the Ad Mech box went for $140, as this has more value, but Necron players should be happy! You get both boxes of Lychguard for free, so when compared to the Space Marines box, it has basically double the value.
Grey Knights Boarding Patrol Box $110
Get yours for less from these retailers:| Amazon | Dicehead Games | Bazooka Games | Frontline Gaming | Element Games (UK) | or | eBay |
The incorruptible Castellan Crowe leads five Grey Knights Terminators – who can also be built as elite Paladins. Backing them up are 10 Grey Knights – these versatile daemon-hunters can be built as teleporting Interceptors, fiery Purifiers, or skilled Strike Squads.
- Grey Knights Terminators $55
- 10 Grey Knights Interceptors, fiery Purifiers, or Strike Squads $65
- Castellan Crowe $45
Total MSRP: $165
Savings versus $110 box price: $55
This box has the lowest value we’ve seen so far, and if you don’t need Crowe, you are basically paying retail (well, saving ten bucks). So, if you need every single model inside and haven’t picked up Crowe yet, it will save you some cash.
Adeptus Mechanicus $140
Get yours for less from these retailers:| Amazon | Dicehead Games | Bazooka Games | Frontline Gaming | Element Games (UK) | or | eBay |
The Adeptus Mechanicus bring a flexible force of 10 Skitarii, who can be built as Rangers or Vanguard, backed up by three hulking Kataphrons, which can be built as Destroyers or the appropriately-named Breachers. Scouting ahead are five Sicarians, who can be built as Ruststalkers or Infiltrators, all led by a Tech-Priest Dominus with a variety of arcane wargear options and a thirst for voidborne relics.
- 10 Skitarii $50
- 3 Kataphrons $60
- five Sicarians $55
- Tech-Priest Dominus $38
Total MSRP: $203
Savings versus $140 box price: $63
Honestly, we’re not sure why they raised the price so much on this one, because the value just isn’t that great at $140, but not terrible. However, the models inside are a little random, but if you need all three of the units inside and the Techpriest, this is a decent pickup.
Chaos Daemons $130
Get yours for less from these retailers:| Amazon | Dicehead Games | Bazooka Games | Frontline Gaming | Element Games (UK) | or | eBay |
Chaos Daemons have – appropriately, given the arrival of Angron – manifested as a huffing and slavering crash of Khornate nightmares. 10 Bloodletters and 10 Flesh Hounds are led by Khorne’s favourite hunter – Karanak, the Hound of Vengeance. In the cramped confines of a space hulk, these frenzied killers will close the distance between enemy guns with warp-flushed speed and savagery.
- 10 Bloodletters $38
- 10 Flesh Hounds $110 ($55 for 5)
- Karanak $38
Total MSRP: $186
Savings versus $130 box price: $56
Well, if you really want a bunch of Flesh Hounds and Karanak, then this is a “yes.” If you don’t want a bunch of Flesh Hounds, then no. This one is pretty simple; the Flesh Hounds would cost $110 on their own, so this basically means you get the Bloodletters and Karanak for free.
But again, not sure why the price increased from the others at $125, because now it doesn’t even have $60 in value.
Genestealer Cults $125
Get yours for less from these retailers:| Amazon | Dicehead Games | Bazooka Games | Frontline Gaming | Element Games (UK) | or | eBay |
This Boarding Patrol contains 17 models in total – one gunslinging Kelermorph inspires a team of 10 Acolyte Hybrids, who can also be built as Hybrid Metamorphs, while a hulking Abominant is joined by his little Mindwyrm Familiar friend, and five nearly-as-hulking Aberrants.
- Kelermorph $32
- 10 Acolyte Hybrids $84 ($42 for 5)
- Abominant $32
- 5 Aberrants $42
Total MSRP: $190
Savings versus $125 box price: $65
Well, the value is pretty decent, but again, it comes down to whether you need the units inside. If you don’t need a single unit, the box value goes way down. However, if you need everything inside, you get the 10 Acolyte Hybrids for close to free!
So, a pretty decent way to add to or start your GSC force.
Death Guard $115
Get yours for less from these retailers:| Amazon | Dicehead Games | Bazooka Games | Frontline Gaming | Element Games (UK) | or | eBay |
Finally, the Death Guard heed Abaddon’s call, with an obdurate if slimy Boarding Patrol led by a Lord of Virulence. He’s joined by a bodyguard of three Deathshroud Terminators, as well as 10 versatile Plague Marines – three of which are taken from the much-sought-after Plague Marine Reinforcements set.
- Lord of Virulence $38
- Three Deathshroud Terminators $60
- 10 Plague Marines $97 (7 Plague Marines are $55, and the reinforcements pack with three is $42)
Total MSRP: $195
Savings versus $115 box price: $80
This one is strange because a lot of the value comes from the Plague Marines, and considering the reinforcements box is so expensive for three minis; it’s hard to say.
While the dollar value is there, you get a lot of that value in the expensive reinforcements box. However, if you wanted those Plague Marines in your army, this is an excellent box in terms of value.
Boarding Patrol: Eldar $130
Get yours for less from these retailers:| Amazon | Dicehead Games | Bazooka Games | Frontline Gaming | Element Games (UK) | or | eBay |
Boarding Patrol: Aeldari contains 20 Corsairs who can be built either as Voidreaver Troops or as tooled-up Voidscarred Elites. These versatile kits provide a solid firebase – or pistol-packing combatants – while Jain Zar and five of her finest Howling Banshees dance through the decks, unleashing disorientating psychosonic screams as they cut their foes to ribbons.
- 20 Corsairs $120 ($60 for 10)
- Jain Zar $45 (increased from $42 with price updates)
- Howling Banshees $60
Total MSRP: $225
Savings versus $130 box price: $95
Even at $130, you get basically a hundred dollars worth of value. However, the bulk of the money is made up in the Corsairs. So, if you want the Corsairs, this is a decent buy. If you don’t want 20 Corsairs, it’s not worth it; pretty simple!
Boarding Patrol: Drukhari $115
Get yours for less from these retailers:| Amazon | Dicehead Games | Bazooka Games | Frontline Gaming | Element Games (UK) | or | eBay |
Succubi are skilled duelists, making them a perfect leader for the close confines of a Boarding Action. They command 20 Wyches, acrobatic murderers who no-one wants to get stuck in a room with, and have also hired five Incubi – heavily-armoured shock troopers who can clear out whole gangways with their razor-sharp demiklaives.
- 20 Wyches $90 (They went up from $38-$45 in recent price increases)
- Incubi $60
- Succubus $27
Total MSRP: $177
Savings versus (estimated) $115 box price: $62
Is the Drukhari Box Worth it?
Well, it only has $62 in value, but it’s not the worst we’ve seen, so that’s a plus. However, for the most part, you get the Incubi for free, which is pretty nice.
Boarding Patrol: Tau $130
Get yours for less from these retailers:| Amazon | Dicehead Games | Bazooka Games | Frontline Gaming | Element Games (UK) | or | eBay |
This is hard-hitting force includes three Crisis Battlesuits and a squad of 10 Fire Warriors, who are perfectly suited for close-quarters combat when assembled as a Breacher Team. The battlesuits have numerous short-ranged weapon options, which offer great utility against many different enemy types in tight spaces.
- 3 Crisis Battlesuits $80 (including Drones)
- 10 Fire Warriors $60
- Farsight $80 (the current kit is $65, and the Ghostkeel is $90 We think this is a good in-between, and keep in mind the same price as the new Chaos Daemon Prince on same size base)
Total MSRP: $220
Savings versus $130 box price: $90 (estimated)
Boarding Patrol: Orks $140
Get yours for less from these retailers:| Amazon | Dicehead Games | Bazooka Games | Frontline Gaming | Element Games (UK) | or | eBay |

- Snikrot $45 (based on Zodgrod)
- 5 Flash Gitz $60
- 10 Beast Snagga Boyz $60
- 10 Kommandos $65
Total MSRP: $230
Savings versus $140 box price: $90 (estimated)

Get yours for less from these retailers:| Amazon | Dicehead Games | Bazooka Games | Frontline Gaming | Element Games (UK) | or | eBay |
Bring the light of the Emperor to the void with Boarding Patrol: Adepta Sororitas, scouring the Arks of Omen with bolt, flame, and melta. A devout Canoness leads five Celestian Sacresants, 10 Sisters Repentia, and 10 Battle Sisters into the breach, making this a durable fighting force with plenty of power armour and some chainsword punch.
- 5 Celestian Sacresants $60
- 10 Sisters Repentia $60
- 10 Battle Sisters $60
- Canoness $40
Total MSRP: $220
Savings versus $140 box price: $80
At $140, it will be a no-brainer for Sisters players who need the models inside! You are essentially getting an entire unit and half the HQ for free!
Boarding Patrol: Adeptus Custodes $110
Get yours for less from these retailers:| Amazon | Dicehead Games | Bazooka Games | Frontline Gaming | Element Games (UK) | or | eBay |
Imagine turning a corner in your warp-infested space hulk and walking straight into a golden giant with death in his eyes – it’s enough to turn an honest, god-fearing heretic pale. The Adeptus Custodes excel in close quarters, and with three Allarus Custodians, five Custodian Guard, and Trajann Valoris himself packing out their Boarding Patrol, there’s little that will last more than a moment in their sight.
- 3 Allarus Custodians $60
- 5 Custodian Guard $60
- Trajann Valoris $45
Total MSRP: $165
Savings versus $110 box price: $55
Even at $110, this isn’t as good as some other patrols we’ve seen, even this week… But to those who need the models inside, this is still some value! After all, you are essentially getting the Trajann and then some for free!
Boarding Patrol: Thousand Sons $115
Get yours for less from these retailers:| Amazon | Dicehead Games | Bazooka Games | Frontline Gaming | Element Games (UK) | or | eBay |
Chaos Space Marines are right at home on the claustrophobic corridors of a space hulk, and we’re not even convinced the Thousand Sons register much of the weirdness going on given the forces they tamper with. This Boarding Patrol pairs two Chaos Spawn with 20 Rubric Marines, bringing an impressive number of bodies and a pair of pskyers onto the board while the Spawn make a right mess of anything they encounter.
- 2 Chaos Spawn $55
- 20 Rubric Marines $120 ($60 for 10)
Total MSRP: $175
Savings versus $115 box price: $60

Leagues of Votann Boarding Patrol Retail Price: $140
Get yours for less from these retailers:| Amazon | Dicehead Games | Bazooka Games | Frontline Gaming | Element Games (UK) | or | eBay |
There’s much profit to be found in the esoteric salvage secreted aboard these rotting void-barges – and you can acquire it for the glory of your own Hold with five cybernetically-enhanced Cthonian Beserks, five diamond-hard Einhyr Hearthguard, and 10 geared-up Hearthkyn Warriors, all led by a proud Einhyr Champion.
- 5 Cthonian Beserks $60
- 5 Einhyr Hearthguard $60
- 10 Hearthkyn Warriors $60
- Einhyr Champion $40
Total MSRP: $220
Savings versus $140 box price: $80
Well, first, this goes for $140, which makes sense as it has the exact same value as the Sisters of Battle Boarding Patrol box. Honestly, this is pretty worth it, as $80 in value is always nice, but the units inside are also worthwhile!
Imperial Agents Boarding Patrol Retail Price: $140
Get yours for less from these retailers:| Amazon | Dicehead Games | Bazooka Games | Frontline Gaming | Element Games (UK) | or | eBay |
Appropriately enough, this hefty Boarding Patrol is all about the Imperial Navy. It contains a whopping 20 Imperial Navy Breachers, who can be built as a variety of specialists and gunners, or with a standard combat shotgun and hatchet. They are led by the 10 members of the Elucidian Starstriders – a Cartographica Rogue Trader, her personal entourage, a squad of Voidsmen, and a loyal Canid.
- 20 Imperial Navy Breachers $120 (a box of 10 runs for $60)
- Elucidian Starstriders $60
- Eversor Assassin $40
Total MSRP: $220
Savings versus $140 box price: $80
Again, this has the exact same amount of value inside (as GW finally confirmed the Assassin), so it only made sense for this to go for the $140 price point similar to other Boarding Patrols.
