Shadrak Meduson Brings the Storm to Horus Heresy!

horus-heresy-icon-logo-wal-hor-titleThe new Forge World Iron Hands Shadrak Meduson brings the storm to the Horus Heresy as the leader of the Shattered Space Marine Legions.

After the Isstvan V Dropsite Massacre, many legions were nearly destroyed. However, they still banded together to fight Horus and pester him at every turn. Shadrak was chief among the captains to rally his troops, bringing Ravenguard, Salamanders, and Iron Hands under his command.

Shadrak Meduson Brings the Wrath of the Iron Hands to Horus Heresy!

Here is the latest on the Shadrak Meduson miniature, according to Warhammer Community.

Shadrak Meduson

Born Shadrak Smyth of Old Albia, Meduson changed his name once his Primarch Ferrus Manus was found on Medusa. His flexible mindset and ability to rally his warriors helped him rise through the ranks to become Tenth Captain of the Sorrgol Clan-Company – but he never set foot on Isstvan V. Assigned to drop with the second wave of Iron Hands, Shadrak was instead forced to desperately fend off boarding actions from Traitor forces.

Once it became clear that all was lost, Meduson took command of one of the largest groupings of the remaining Iron Hands. Unified with survivors from the Raven Guard and Salamanders, they formed a resurgent fighting force that would plague the armies of the Warmaster – and his favoured agent, Tybalt Marr.

Shadrak is the perfect leader for your forces as the shattered legions are some of the coolest in lore. Plus, getting to play them on the tabletop is super fun!

Shadrak Meduson 2

This miniature shows Meduson as the vengeful guerilla, a scarred and augmented Space Marine launching hit-and-fade attacks on the forces of the Traitor hosts, sworn to hunt down his nemesis Marr. Despite his losses, he’s still one of the Iron Hands – he has a servo-arm tucked away on his power pack, and the emblem of his adopted clan sculpted onto one knee.

The model itself is really well-detailed, and its composition is very dynamic! Who doesn’t love a good mechanical arm?

Horus Heresy Rules

Shadrak Meduson 3

Meduson is caught mid-aim, wielding a master-crafted boltgun – reverse-engineered fromcaptured Banestrike technology– alongside his Albian power gladius. His particular skill is toRaise the Storm, inspiring his comrades to feats of reckless violence against their hated foes.

His rule is not only really thematic but also pretty strong. When you need to smash through the enemy, activate this and get a ton of combat bonuses! Then, you gain some extra reactions in the movement phase as well!

Shadrak Meduson rallied many shattered legions to harass the traitors throughout the Horus Heresy, and now you can play him on the tabletop! Overall, this is a great-looking character and should be a fun addition to your Horus Heresy forces!
