SoCal Open 2024 2Mark your calendars for October 19-20, 2024, and head over to the Del Mar Fairgrounds O’Brien Hall in Del Mar, California, for an awesome gaming experience!

There are countless reasons why the SoCal Open is a fan favorite. First off, it’s close to the beach, so you can enjoy some sun and surf between games. The spacious (and new) hall provides plenty of room for all the action, and the crowd is always super chill, making for a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Then, there will be all kinds of games, including the 40k tournament, narrative events, AoS, Star Wars Legion, Shatterpoint, MCP, Kill Teams, Warmachine, and Blood Bowl!

New Format: 8-Person Warhammer 40K Team Event

SoCal Open 2024This year, due to the unprecedented demand, the tournament is switching from a singles competitive format to an 8-person team event. This competitive-focused tournament will span two days and four rounds, closely following the WTC/Champions Cup format. Whether you’re a tactical genius or just love rolling dice with your friends, this event is for you.

Star Wars fans, rejoice! Legion is now an officially supported AMG Grand Tournament, bringing awesome prizes and full recognition from AMG. Plus, Shatterpoint, the game that sold out faster than any other at LVO, will also have its own officially supported AMG Grand Tournament at SoCal.
