The Witcher: No Man’s Land is Monster Fight Club’s new skirmish game, with Geralt, Letho, and two monsters packed into the starter.
Monster Fight Club has just revealed The Witcher: No Man’s Land, a 32mm skirmish game set on the Continent. Its two-player starter includes full warbands led by Geralt and Letho, plus a griffin and striga that can threaten both sides.
If you’ve been checking out the best alternatives to Games Workshop for a smaller game to split with a friend, this one has a strong setup. It also fits alongside some other indie skirmish games, only with a Witcher license and a roster that already feels built for narrative play.

The Witcher: No Man’s Land Starter (Gamefound Preorder)
The new starter gets two people playing from one box. Perhaps best of all, it includes two complete warbands, two monsters, and the character and tactics cards covering each fighter’s weapons, magic, and abilities.
No Man’s Land uses Monster Fight Club’s [RE]action System, so players aren’t stuck waiting through rigid phases. It’s also factionless, making Geralt’s and Letho’s crews starting rosters rather than fixed armies. Plus, just like we say with the Gundam Assemble box we saw, that first starter will shape what players add later, but this setup leaves room to rebuild both crews.
Geralt’s Warband is a Whole Town Standing Its Ground
Geralt leads a Resolute Farmer, rugged Blacksmith, Brazen Sorceress, and Eager Surgeon. Overall the crew feels like a small town pulling together to defend itself rather than another band of hired fighters.
That’s the story already sitting in the roster, giving painters and narrative players plenty to work with before the first game.
Letho’s Warband Is the Contract Coming for Them
Letho of Gulet brings a Gruff Captain, Dutiful Soldier, Astute Crossbowman, and Authoritative Priest. Where Geralt’s crew looks like it’s defending the town, Letho’s looks like the group sent to break it.
Put them across the table from each other and the scenario practically writes itself from the looks of it.
The Griffin and Striga Belong to Nobody
The griffin and striga don’t belong to either player as they can threaten both warbands, drive tailored scenarios, and appear in semi-cooperative hunts where players work together (until they don’t).
That flexibility gives the starter more to do than repeat the same head-to-head fight, while also putting the biggest threats outside either player’s control, which suits The Witcher perfectly.
Final Thoughts on The Witcher: No Man’s Land Starter
Overall, the Gamefound preorder is expected soon, with Fall 2026 listed as the current target now, but the game went quiet for most of a year, so we’ll trust that schedule more once campaign page is live.
There’s is also still no price, and that’s likely to decide how many hobbyists buy in as well. The other question is how the game expands after the starter, but the good news is that the factionless roster system and shared monsters give it room to grow.
