A Helping Hand: Heroes of Armageddon Project!

By Rob Baer | April 6th, 2011 | Categories: Heroes of Armageddon, Warhammer 40k

Some of you may remember the cool Storm Wardens Charity Project from last year. This year John and Mike (from Santa Cruz Warhammer,) wanted to do the same thing because lets face it, the world needs even more help this year.

This year we have four build teams working on four 3,000 point armies, all to raise money for Doctors Without Borders. Over the coming weeks and months you will be able to see the progression of the armies and learn a bit more about the folks involved.
The four armies we’re building are all linked to the Third War for Armageddon: Steel Legion, Blood Angels, Speed Freaks, and a horde led by Ghazghkull Thraka.

I’ll be working Ghazghkull Thraka’s Horde mob, with help from the Stony Point Refugees Gaming Club in Richmond Virginia, among others.

If you would like to help, please get in touch with John and Mike over at the central Heroes Blog, or show some love by donating some cash via the button on the top left.

Plus you never know you may win one of the four armies, because every dollar that you support the project with gives you a chance to be one of the lucky four winners at the end of this drive.

If you happen to frequent FTW Games, please stop by and talk to me if you can help with the project and get Ghazghkull’s Horde rolling!  – MBG
