GW Reveals New Age of Sigmar Models For 2026

new aos battletome books for 2026

The Hour of Ruin is unloading fresh Age of Sigmar plastic for Bonereapers, Tzeentch, and Lumineth, plus new heroes, Battletomes, Spearheads, and battleforces for 2026!

The Hour of Ruin is doing what it does best, turning the Mortal Realms into a flaming mess, and three factions are showing up with fresh plastic, new rules, and enough “please buy me” energy to power a Realmgate. If you have been waiting for new Age of Sigmar models that actually change how armies play, this wave has some real meat on the bone.

You have Ossiarch Bonereapers leaning harder into precision warfare (and some very rude new toys), Disciples of Tzeentch getting trickier with fate manipulation, and Lumineth Realm-lords doing what they always do, acting superior while getting more tools to control the table.

Ossiarch Bonereapers Get Faster, Meaner, and Way More Tactical

New BonereapersBonereapers have always been about disciplined board control, but this batch screams “modern toolbox” instead of “march forward and hope the opponent is polite.”

New Ossiarch Bonereapers Units

New Bonereapers boxes

  • Liege-Kavalos on War Chariot: A speedier command platform that lets your general be where the fight matters, when it matters. It is a battlefield manager that also happens to flatten things.
  • Kavalos War Chariot option: Same kit, different vibe, still built to run people down with the efficiency of a tax audit.
  • Liege-Mortek: A sub-commander that screams, “Tighten your battle plan.” Multiple weapon and head options mean you can build for style, role, or both.
  • Mortek Triaxes: Finally, real ranged pressure that feels purpose-built. Extra eyes, spooky targeting, and Balefire Braziers for flaming soul-essence arrows are peak “Shyish engineering.”
  • Mortis Reapers: Assassins with desiccating grave sand tricks. If your meta has key support heroes hiding behind screens, these are the folks who go collect that payment.

New Ossiarch Bonereapers Battletome and Boxes

Bonereapers boxesBattletome: Ossiarch Bonereapers is bringing updated battle traits that rework Relentless Discipline into a hero-generated points pool you spend on abilities, with some scaling if you spend more points. That is the kind of change that rewards planning instead of button-mashing.

Null Myriad PhalanxAlso on deck for the faction.

  • Battleforce: Null Myriad Phalanx (Arkhan, Soulmason, Morghasts, Mortek Guard)
  • Spearhead: Kavalos Vanguard (Liege-Kavalos, Kavalos Deathriders, Teratic Cohort vibe for objectives)
  • Regiment of Renown: Heralds of the Bone-tithe (Vokmortian, Immortis Guard, Mortek Guard)

Disciples of Tzeentch Go Full “Fate Points and Head Games”

FatemasterIf you play the Disciples of Tzeentch, you already enjoy winning games; your opponent does not realize they are losing until turn three. This update is basically that, but with cleaner tools and a big shiny terrain piece to make your magic phase even more obnoxious.

What’s new

  • Fatemaster: Martial command for Arcanites, with the classic Tzeentch flavor of “duel you later, I am busy lying right now.”
  • Argent Shards: Floating Silver Tower fragments that act as magical conduits, plus the fun trick where destroying one can still leave you dealing with the twins’ fallout.

New Disciples of Tzeentch Boxes and extras

Battleforce Warp FlameBattletome: Disciples of Tzeentch also packs two Armies of Renown (including Oracles of Fate with Kairos and Destiny Dice vibes), two Regiments of Renown, and a new Spearhead, plus the usual gamer’s edition, warscroll cards, and dice.

Also incoming for the Disciples of Tzeentch:

  • Battleforce: Warpflame Cavalcade (Kairos plus a daemon party with Horrors, Flamers, Screamers, and a Burning Chariot hero)
  • Spearhead: Tzaangor Warflock (Shaman leading Tzaangor, Enlightened, Skyfires)
  • Regiment of Renown: Seekers of Silver (Gaunt Summoner on Disc, Magister on Disc, Screamers)

Lumineth Realm-lords Get a New Regent and More Battlefield Control Tricks

Vanari Lord RegentLumineth Realm-lords are already good at dictating tempo, and the new toys look like they lean into that identity, while also giving you a fresh leader model that fits the “heroic centerpiece, also buff engine” role.

New Lumineth Realm-lords kit spotlight

  • Vanari Lord Regent: A grounded commander trusted by Tyrion, built to rally allies and lead the charge. The build options let you go full parade-ready (helmet in hand, banner up) or “I am here to work” (helmet on, shield planted).

Lumineth Realm-lords Battleforce and Spearhead options

Ilathian Warhost

  • Battletome: Lumineth Realm-lords
  • Battleforce: Iliathan Warhost (Ellania and Ellathor, Bladelords, Sentinels, Wardens, Starshard Ballista, Ydrilan Riverblades)
  • Spearhead: Hurakan Vanguard (Windmage, Windchargers, Spirit of the Wind, plus Wardens for objectives)
  • Regiment of Renown: Sigil Convocation (Scinari Calligrave with manifestation tools like Sanctum of Amyntok, Hyshian Twinstones, Rune of Petrification)

New Age of Sigmar 2026 Releases: Which One Should You Jump On?

New Ossiarch Bonereapers

And that is The Hour of Ruin in a nutshell: three factions getting a real shake-up, not just a new sculpt and a polite pat on the head.

Bonereapers look like they are trading the old “slow march, unblinking stare” routine for a proper tactical kit, with speed, ranged pressure, and hero-hunting tools that punish sloppy positioning. Tzeentch is doubling down on fate as a weapon, which means your opponent is going to spend the whole game doing math and questioning their life choices. Lumineth, meanwhile, are showing up with another control-flavored centerpiece and more ways to tell the table, “No, you do not get to play over there.”

So yeah, hide your wallet, clear some shelf space, and start plotting which box actually builds toward your next list instead of just looking pretty in a display case.
