Games Workshop delivered with a ton of reveals and previews this weekend- check out everything Warhammer from Gen Con!
With the event officially over, we’ve seen new minis for 40k, Kill Team, AoS, Necromunda, and Warhammer Underworlds. So pretty much something for everybody! On top of that, they’ve revealed the Ork Kommandos and Death Korps of Krieg Veterans coming as their own releases as well. They didn’t give them a date quite yet, but with the boxes revealed, you know it can’t be too far off.
We’re sure the reveals are exciting for everyone but check out everything below in case you missed any.
All the Warhammer Gen Con Reveals
Gen Con is one of the biggest tabletop gaming events in the world, held over four days between the 16th and the 19th of September in Indianapolis, IN. We’ll be attending the convention, and we’re bringing the big guns with us.
That’s right – there’ll be new models, boxed sets, and books for Warhammer 40,000, Warhammer Underworlds, Kill Team, Blood Bowl and more.
Pretty much all the big games other than AoS got a reveal (but Underworlds got new minis), so it’s basically the same, but it makes sense as the release of the most recent Sigmar miniatures has slowed to multiple waves each week. If you are curious, we also identified each of the shadowy figures from the silhouettes in the teaser image:
Going left to right, the first model is this Stormcast from the new Underworlds Warband! The design really helps the theme of darkness convey correctly in the new season of underworlds.
The middle figure is this Black Templar with his trusty sword. The Black Templars are getting their Supplement very soon and being a fan favorite makes them an obvious choice to feature in this set of previews.
The final model is this crossbow-wielding Sister coming in for Kill Team. Kill Team just got a ton of love with the Orks vs DKoK box, but who says they can have more? Plus, these Sisters of Battle look great, so it’s a win-win no matter how you look at it.
