AdeptiCon 2024 has released its event preview, and it’s packed to the brim full of awesome events for you to check out!

AdeptiCon has dropped its current event preview for the 2024 convention, and there are tons of events available for all sorts of games and hobby types. With hundreds of different events, including seminars, tournaments, learn to play, and more, there is undoubtedly something for everyone!
Not only will all this be going on, but the Long War 40k Doubles tournament will also be returning. This means if you want to get in on the action with a friend, now is a perfect time!
They are both super fun if you’ve never been to AdeptiCon or played a doubles tourney! AdeptiCon is like a hobbyist’s dream event (because so much is going on), and the doubles tournaments are just so much fun to play with a friend.

Registration for AdeptiCon 2024 will open on January 7th, 2024, at 1 PM CT.
If you plan on attending the event, be ready to start filling in for event tickets as soon as those time slots open! If the past is anything to go by, people will lock in their registrations quickly! The Warhammer 40k Team Tournament has a history of selling out, so if that interests you, be sure to act fast!

Now is typically the time of year, post-Thanksgiving, to start getting serious about your AdeptiCon hobbying, if you haven’t already. To that end, a list of important dates is listed below. Key Dates:
12/08/2023: AdeptiCon 2024 Cart Preview Launch
01/07/2024: AdeptiCon 2024 Registration Opens
02/05/2024: Option to ship badges closes, also last day for refunds on shipped badges and merchandise
02/26/2024: Registration Closes
03/08/2024: Final day for all refunds, transfers, credits, and waitlist tickets

Long War Doubles Returns to AdeptiCon 2024!
The doubles tourney has 128 spots available (remember, only the team captain is required to buy a ticket), which is doubled from last year. It takes place on Friday, March 22nd, so if you want in on the action, keep that January 7th date in mind! Here is a rundown of how the tournament works:
Our doubles tournament allows each player to bring 1000-point force, which you will pair with another player to form a 2000-point team.
The only hard and fast rule is that your army must be painted to a three-color minimum with basing. Each individual 1000-point army must follow the current FAQ for list construction, which differs from standard 2000-point construction.
Show up in style! Each team will receive two sets of Long War Logo Dice (12 to a set), that will be handed out at LWD registration the day of the event.
All dice are square-cornered and accompanied by a sweet metal tin surrounded by EVA foam.
Team Event: This Team Event requires two players to form a single team. Only the Team Captain is required to purchase this event ticket. The team registration fee covers all players on a team. All team members are required to purchase an AdeptiCon Badge.
The format is super fun, and if you haven’t played in one yet, you should try it! This year will also include a set of Long War Logo dice for both players as well as part of the ticket cost!
