Today’s new Warhammer Rumor Engine preview looks like GW might be teasing another Duardin release, but is the fire meant for something else?
Here’s the latest Rumor Engine from Games Workshop. As usual, there are some interesting possibilities for what it could be! Whatever the case, we can’t wait to see what Games Workshop has in store when it’s finally revealed.

New Warhammer Rumor Engine Preview: September 8th, 2026
GW mentions this is a brand in the post, and with all the rumors about new Fyreslayers and Helsmiths of Hashut, we’d expect this to be for one of those two armies.
They teased four armies near the beginning of the year, and with Ogors and Maggotkin already out, this feels like an obvious choice. But of course, it could always also be something like the Old Hellcannon too!
This is an old model that could be easily updated to the new range, so why not? But since almost every faction has some kind of fire, it could always be just about anything else, right down to a similar specialist miniature!
