This new Warhammer Rumor Engine preview looks like a new tail on some kind of creature, or could it be something else entirely?
Here’s the latest Rumor Engine from Games Workshop. As usual, there are some interesting possibilities for what it could be! Whatever the case, we can’t wait to see what Games Workshop has in store when it’s finally revealed.

New Warhammer Rumor Engine Preview: July 7th, 2026
This new Warhammer rumor engine clearly looks like a tail. That being said, beyond the size and smooth surface, feeling amphibian or fish-like, it’s quite hard to place!
Idoneth Deepkin are the poster sea creature faction in AoS, but a wild new specialist miniature is always on deck too!
There really is no shortage of sea creature variety with the Deepkin; a Manta Ray or something similar with this triangular tail could easily blend into the lineup.
Still, it could always be anything really, or a specialist miniature that’s not AoS at all!
