Miniswap’s eBay Sync Is Live, Fixes a Huge Headache for Warhammer Sellers

miniswap and ebay added

Miniswap just solved the worst part of selling Warhammer across eBay and their own store: accidentally selling the same box twice.

Anyone selling Warhammer 40k model kits, bits, or painted armies across multiple platforms knows how fast inventory math goes sideways. The good news is that Miniswap just rolled out an eBay integration that mirrors your listings and keeps inventory in sync on both sides, which solves a big problem when selling on multiple platforms.

Yup, now you can connect your eBay account to Miniswap, and it pulls your listings across automatically and keeps the same inventory correct on both.

So now you don’t have to copy titles between tabs or refresh both platforms every five minutes, hoping you didn’t just double-sell a tactical squad to two different buyers.  For hobby sellers, game stores, and anyone with a side hustle selling Warhammer models, this is a game-changer.

What the Miniswap eBay Integration Actually Does

Miniswap can automatically grab your active eBay listings after you link your accounts from their site. Everything from titles, descriptions, prices, quantities, and images all come across automagically.

But honestly, the real reason to set this up is the two-way inventory sync, and that’s a big problem-solver.

Where This Actually Helps Miniatures Sellers Everywhere

Sure, plenty of hobby sellers already sell on eBay because the reach is there, but eBay isn’t built around how miniature buyers actually shop. Miniswap gives you a dedicated audience of hobbyists, while eBay offers a wider marketplace.

Where you would have had to choose before, you don’t have to now, because you can sell on both without doubling the workload.

Clearing out old sprues, or box sets, gets a lot easier when you’re not rebuilding every listing twice.

Miniswap’s Matching System Is Smarter Than eBay Search

Another great feature of the Miniswap site is that it also tries to sort your listings into the right product entry in its catalog using title, category, keywords, and item details.

When it gets the match right, buyers can find your products through filters like faction, unit type, or condition, instead of hoping a plain-text search shows the right result the first time.

From there, if the product match is incorrect or Miniswap’s system isn’t confident, sellers can review and manually fix it in the dashboard on the spot. This is pretty important in the hobby because bits, conversions, and weird mixed lots are always where automated matching tends to get it wrong.

Where the Miniswap eBay Sync Falls Short

Miniswap Discord PageSo right now, not everything syncs (yet).

Currently, the feature only supports Games Workshop products. Also, listings under $2.50 USD or £2.50 GBP don’t import, and only active eBay listings qualify.

Also, synced listings can’t be edited on Miniswap either. So if you want to change titles, descriptions, or quantities, you have to do that through your eBay seller dashboard.

But honestly, none of that should be a dealbreaker for most sellers, but it’s worth knowing up front so you’re not wondering why your Miniswap edits keep getting overwritten.

Final Thoughts on Miniswap’s New eBay Integration

Miniswap Front Page Recent ListingsMiniswap’s new eBay integration is pretty much a game-changer that solves a real headache for miniature sellers: because it keeps inventory accurate across multiple platforms without losing half your day to manual updates.

Best of all, it fixes one of the most annoying parts of selling hobby inventory across platforms, which gives you more time to find more minaturs to sell or just hobby more.
