New 9th Edition 40k Adeptus Mechanicus Releases SPOTTED

admech wal paperTons of  Adeptus Mechanicus new releases for 9th edition 40k, and even their prices have been spotted over the weekend!

First seen on Reddit it looks like the word may be out on what the new 9th Edition 40k Ad Mech releases are along with some pictures of the patrol box and other goodies, but when they will arrive is still a mystery.

RUMORS: Adeptus Mechanicus New Releases & Prices

The prices were listed in AUD, but with a little work, we were able to reverse engineer them to US prices and check to see if they are consistent with previous 40k releases. Supposedly these were originally going to come at the end of April, however, due to GW slowing new releases, we will have to wait a few weeks before the Ad Mech (or any faction) gets new releases.

Here is the quote from Rook8875:

I’ve been lucky enough to receive the information on what the orders will be, as well as the initial shipping + release dates (which don’t correspond with the standard release dates).

Anyway, the initial preorder date was the 24th, and the release was not the 1st of May, but the 30th of April (yep a Friday) to make sure it was an April release.

Here are the contents and prices in AUD;

  • Combat Patrol $230.00
  • Skitarii Marshall $49.00

  • Codex Adeptus Mechanicus $84.00

  • Datacards Adeptus Mechanicus $40

  • Warhammer 40000: Adeptus Mechanicus Dice $55.00

  • Combat Patrol $230.00 AUD -> $140 USD (Combat Patrol Deathguard)
  • Skitarii Marshall $49.00 AUD -> $30 USD (Chaos Space Marine Sorcerer)

  • Codex Adeptus Mechanicus $84.00 AUD -> $50 USD (Codex: Space Marines)

  • Datacards Adeptus Mechanicus $40 AUD -> $25 USD (Datacards: Space Marines)

  • Warhammer 40000: Adeptus Mechanicus Dice $55.00 AUD -> $35 USD (Drukhari Dice set)

By looking up comparable listings we actually find that all of these prices seem to match up exactly with current counterparts. However, we’re not the only ones that know this pricing trick, so as usual take these rumors with a grain of salt.

From the same source as above, new pictures of the patrol box and other goodies have been spotted as well.  Let’s check them out.

  • 1x Dunecralwer
  • 10x Rangers
  • 3x Breachers
  • 1x Tech-Priest Enginseer

ad mech datacardsThis doesn’t really mean much, but we did see the Ad Mech Datacards packaging.

skitarii marshal packageFinally, the new Skitarii Marshal is in a bubble pack! If this is true it supports the idea that he will be available by himself, which is great news for players with huge armies already!

While technically these could be faked, it is highly unlikely. These are incredibly convincing, but as with all leaks, just be sure to take these rumors with a grain of salt so you aren’t let down later.
