The Separatist Fighter Squadrons will swarm the enemy into oblivion! They may not be big, but they are deadly.
If you’ve been waiting to get into the game, now is the time with all the new starter sets and rules coming! If you’ve already been playing, well, you have been getting tons of options to expand your forces. It’s just a really fun game and now with all the additions, each game will have tons of variety.Â
Today, the Separatist Squadrons fly into action, ready to swarm the bigger ships and take everything down with them. These ships can even swarm the most experienced of Jedi with their sheer numbers. Don’t let their size fool you, they make up for it in plenty of other ways. Let’s take a closer look at the announcement from FFG:
Separatist Fighter Squadrons:
Even though there are fancier ships very few can be as versatile as a nice swarm of smaller ships. If you need to zoom them to a certain part of the battlefield or take out a key ship, they can! Let’s hear from them about the release:
This expansion gives you access to eight additional Separatist fighter squadrons, including two Hyena-class Droid Bomber squadrons, two Droid Tri-Fighter squadrons, two Belbullab-22 Starfighter squadrons, and an additional two Vulture-class Droid Fighter squadrons. The Separatists are always looking for ways to improve their droid starfighters, and 10 squadron cards invite you to choose between four standard squadrons and six more exotic and experimental variants.
The Cards:
There are three main variants you can pick from with this squadron, each has its own strengths and weaknesses. The nice thing about the cards is that they let you change up how the units act in every game without having to buy new minis.
What Droid fleet would be complete without General Grievous? It’s always fun to be able to play a well-known character in your games!
