New Forge World Astartes FAQ's?

faq_red
It looks like Forge World may have their hands full updating their rules to work with the latest Space Marine releases. Check it out.

Via Faeit

I have a contemptor mortis dreadnought and a chaplain dreadnought. I was
curious if the rules for these will be FAQed or updated to be brought in
line with dreadnoughts in the new space marines codex, which now have more
attacks and chapter tactics?
Cheers,
Thanks for your e-mail. Our rules team are currently working on several
FAQs and errata to update our older publications and these will be released
in the near future. We will, of course, pass your questions on to them.
In the meantime we think it’s fair to use any MK4 or MK5 Dreadnoughts with
the amount of attacks that they now have in the new Codex: Space Marines
but Any Contemptors would still have the amount of attacks that are printed
in their current rules.
If there is anything further we can do to assist you, or if you have any
queries about the information we have requested or provided, please
telephone us.
Regards,
Forge World

As of right now it appears all of the updates for the Space Marines presented in the Badab War Series of books are legal and will work with the newest version of the codex Space Marines (they are however in some cases not updated fully to 7th Edition terminology so be careful here folks).
Some of the highlights (besides Severin Loth’s awesome psychic abilities) are: a way to get 6 squads of Devastators, T5 Devastators for Iron hands (and thusly 6+FNP) and everyone’s favorite Astral Claw- Huron Blackheart before he went rogue.
You can checkout the full character downloads here. Also don’t forget to consult the Badab War chapter tactics rules so you know what some of these chapter’s special rules are as well!
(also don’t forget too that Sentinels of Terra, and Clan Raukaan are both legal for use with the new Space Marine Codex as well!)

Is Forge World’s response rhetoric or a sure thing that they are on the case. Either way it looks like they are aware that an update is needed, and that folks is half the battle IMHO!
