GW’s latest Warhammer 40k rumor engine preview looks like an electric weapon, but it could be for anything! Let’s take a look!
Here’s the latest Rumor Engine from Games Workshop. As usual, there are some interesting possibilities for what it could be! Whatever the case, we can’t wait to see what Games Workshop has in store when it’s finally revealed.

Rumor Engine: June 17th, 2025
This rumor engine looks like a new electric melee weapon. The first comparisons that come to mind are Electropriests for Ad Mech, Arbites, or Palatine Enforcers. Still, though, this bit is pretty generic, so it’s hard to nail down for sure.
We can at least say this tech isn’t going near Age of Sigmar or the Old World.
A decent close model that we’ve seen and could remember was the Arbites Kill Team. The model with the shield has a sort of electric nightstick that looks pretty close to the engine bit (although most likely smaller)!
Still, this is a rumor engine with tons of possible options; it really could be anything!
