Today’s new Warhammer Rumor Engine preview looks like GW might not be done updating Tomb Kings, and a new casket of souls might be on the way!
Here’s the latest Rumor Engine from Games Workshop. As usual, there are some interesting possibilities for what it could be! Whatever the case, we can’t wait to see what Games Workshop has in store when it’s finally revealed.
Let’s take a look and try to guess until then!
New Warhammer Rumor Engine Preview: October 13th, 2026
GW has been updating the Tomb Kings with tons of new plastic lately, so it wouldn’t be out of the blue to see a plastic kit for the Casket of Souls. The biggest tell is the skulls and snake, but… almost any fantasy base could have skulls and a snake.
The Casket of Souls is a classic kit for Tomb Kings, but it’s still in resin, so a plastic kit would be welcome for sure. Obviously, there’s skulls, snakes, and dais, so it fits every part of the rumor. However, the rumor image isn’t quite as ornate, to be fair.
But since almost every fantasy game has some kind of base like this, it could be anything else for Old World or AoS too…
