This new Warhammer Rumor Engine preview looks like a fantasy wheel for something like a chariot, but is it that simple?
Here’s the latest Rumor Engine from Games Workshop. As usual, there are some interesting possibilities for what it could be! Whatever the case, we can’t wait to see what Games Workshop has in store when it’s finally revealed.

New Warhammer Rumor Engine Preview: August 18th, 2026
This Rumor Engine is clearly a wheel of some type, which first makes us think of Fantasy. Obviously, it could be something for AoS, but it looks so similar to existing chariot wheels; we’d expect it to be for Fantasy.
Plus, we’ve seen some other Old World Rumor Engines come true lately, so maybe they are all connected.
This looks very similar to the Tomb Kings chariot, and they just redid the Warriors of Chaos, so perhaps they will re-do Tomb Kings as well?
It could always be anything, right down to a similar specialist miniature!
