Here’s the latest Rumor Engine from Games Workshop. As usual, there are some interesting possibilities for what it could be! Whatever the case, we can’t wait to see what Games Workshop has in store when it’s finally revealed.

New Rumor Engine Preview: January 6th, 2025
This new rumor engine is clearly a hanging tube. That being said, there’s no clear iconography! As for what factions tend to have this style of tubing, Skaven and Death Guard immediately came to mind.
With those two covering each main era, we lean slightly towards Skaven as they’ve got a ton of old war machines and tech that could always use some updating!
Pretty much all of the war machine-style units for Skaven have some sort of tubing, plus there’s a huge variety of tube sizes and designs. In our book, that makes them even more likely for this rumor engine!
Otherwise, specialist games have plenty of potential too! Either way, this is a rumor engine with tons of possible options; it will be cool to see the future model when it is revealed!
