The Warhammer World Tournament happened over the weekend with some pretty sweet 40k army lists making it out towards the top!
The tournament is over and now we’re able to look at which lists managed to secure a place at the top! Check out what the winners brought in their armies.

3rd Place: Mark Pinder – Adeptus Custodes
2nd Place: Ben Allen – Harlequins
1st Place: Marcus Robinson – Orks
Marcus went for three detachments of Goff Orks. The first is a Patrol led by a Big Mek and Warboss in Mega Armour. The Big Mek provides an invulnerable aura to nearby orks and can also repair a vehicle every turn for d3 wounds. While the Warboss has a +1 to hit in melee aura to core and characters.
Troops bring in 20 Beast Snagga Boyz, which have an extra strength than normal Boyz, making them even better in melee thanks to the Warboss aura.
Elites have 4 Meganobz running Kustom Shootas and Klaws. This allows them to be decent versatile but definitely preferring melee with their Power Klaws.
Finishing the first detachment is 6 Squighog boyz to provide some mobility.
Next, there is a Super-Heavy Detachment with 3 Kill Tanks. 2 took Giga Shootas and the other has a Bursta Kannon. Giga Shootas provide a ton of chaff clearing, while the Bursta give the list a fantastic anti-armor ranged threat.
Finally, the list closes with Ghazghkull, who is and always has been an absolute unit. Not only does he have a re-roll hit aura and help with attrition tests, but he also is an absolute machine in combat and extremely hard to take down thanks to his max of 4 wounds lost per phase.
