LVO 2023 was a great event, and a ton of amazing armies and players made their way to the Long War Doubles- check out the results!
The Long War Doubles are always fun, and the tournament focuses just as much on painting and being a good sport as it does on winning your games! So, if you want to come home with awesome championship belts, you’ll have to focus on the hobby and be a good opponent.
This year, a bunch of amazing armies showed up, but here are the ones that came out on top.
LVO 2023 Long War Doubles Results!
Best General: Nurgle Hugs
They had the highest Battle Points. The Tie Breaker was their perfect Sportsmanship and painting score. They were also 3rd Overall, so quite the showing from the Nurgle Hugs team!Â
this was their army and display board, so you know they put all kinds of work into this! They even flew this display board out, it got damaged and they had to fix it, so some serious dedication! If you want to see more, check out Matt’s Instagram here for more!
Best Sports: #REKT
The Battle Points were a tie-breaker; again, these guys were actually 2nd place overall. This reflects just how much fun they were to play against!Â
Their display board was also quite amazing, with plenty of LEDs and lava!
Best Painted and Best Overall: Janky Clanky
The judges spent 30 minutes deliberating over the Best Painted Score because the winner in this category would probably pull ahead of the pack, and these guys took it down with some amazing Orks!Â
They had such a perfectly themed army and were obviously quite fun to play with! Plus, this army just looked great from both painters. If you want to see more, you can here on their Instagram!
