Warhammer 40k Christmas Boxes 2025

GW revealed their seven new Christmas boxes forWarhammer 40k: Tyranids, Chaos, Space Marines, Tau, Astra Militarum- Death Korps of Krieg, Leagues of Votann, and Emperor’s Children.
The Christmas boxes release date is Black Friday, November 28th, 2025, as in 2024. However, the new 40k battleforces retail price is now $250 CAD$300 AUD$420 £155 €200.
Be advised, though, the allocation numbers for these are looking very low, with around four to six for most stores, and a dozen or so of the EC, Votann, and Tau ones.
Tyranid Battleforce: Christmas 2025
The Tyranid Christmas box is going to be big. Literally, we’re getting a monster-heavy swarm set that leans into the faction’s love of bio-engineered nightmares.

Chaos Space Marines Battleforce
Nothing says 40k Christmas boxes like heresy, and the Chaos Space Marine battleforce is a brutal stocking stuffer. Obliterators are back on the menu, joined by a Venomcrawler, Havoc Squad, Rhino, and Legionnaires.

T’au Empire Battleforce
The Tau Christmas box for 2025 is themed around Commander Farsight, similar to the Retaliation Cadre one from years past.
With his shiny new model making waves a couple of years ago, it only makes sense to spotlight the renegade hero in a Christmas battleforce, especially considering it seems Tau gets one most years (but not 2023).

Space Marines Battleforce: 40k Christmas Boxes 2025
Space Marines are receiving a lot of attention as the year comes to a close. Originally, there was talk of a Terminator-themed box, but that ended up being the Crux Terminatus battleforce, and not this new Space Marine Christmas box.
Either way, the Space Marines will be getting two Battleforces back-to-back from the looks of it.
Space Marines Battleforce Contents:
- 1x Captain
- 5x Company Heroes Squad
- 5x Sternguard Veterans
- 5x Hellblasters
- 1x Ballistus Dreadnought
- 1x Redemptor Dreadnought
- 1x Set of new Space Marine heads (from the new upgrade sprue)

2024’s Dark Angels Inner Circle Task Force was the hot box. Will it be the Space Marines Christmas box again this year, taking the #1 spot?
Emperor’s Children Battleforce
This was one of the 40k Christmas boxes that had a lot of speculation behind it.
Sure, an Emperor’s Children Christmas box was perhaps a little ambitious, but the Emperor’s Children Battleforce is real and will feature Fulgrim, Flawless Blades, and Noise Marines.
While the box doesn’t have a lot of minis inside, each squad packs a serious punch, and you get a Primarch, which is always awesome.

Leagues of Votann Battleforce: Christmas 2025
The Leagues of Votann Christmas box focuses on the Cthonian side of things with Earthshakers, Beserks, and an Iron Master! It doesn’t have a ton of the new minis, but a few are included.
These 40k Christmas boxes are pretty different from any bundles they have had before, which is nice for players who have been grinding their collection since the initial Votann launch.

- 10x Cthonian Beserks
- 1x Brôkhyr Iron-master (5 models in total with attendants)
- 2x Cthonian Earthshakers
- 1x Kapricus Defender/Carrier

Astra Militarum Death Korps of Krieg Battleforce
The Death Korps of Krieg Christmas box is here! If you’ve been wanting a lot of infantry with a few artillery pieces thrown in, this is the box to grab.

Final Thoughts From Us: 40k Christmas Boxes Pre-Orders
Most of the rumors were true, and now we’re looking at a solid lineup of 40k Christmas boxes for Tyranids, Chaos Space Marines, T’au, Space Marines, Leagues of Votann, Emperor’s Children, and Death Korps of Krieg.
That’s a mix of swarm armies, power armor classics, and alien tech all wrapped up in the usual shiny packaging (but no Knights Battleforces this time around) for just a little bit more than your normal Combat Patrol.
Just remember, these Christmas Boxes are being heavily allocated. If you see a Christmas Battleforce you like, get ready to buy quickly!
Besides that, it’s a win-win as new 40k players get easy access to a cohesive starter army, and veteran collectors get extra kits without the usual price sting.
