Warhammer 40k meets eBay LIVE at the London GT with hobby deals, giveaways, and live shopping for fans following one of the game’s biggest events.
Honestly, 46,000 searches in a month is a lot of people hunting for plastic that isn’t coming from a GW store. That’s how many searches for “Warhammer” and “Warhammer 40k” eBay says it logged on eBay.co.uk over the last 30 days. On top of the searches, more than 100,000 Warhammer items were sold on the UK site over that same stretch.
So yeah, it’s not exactly a shock that eBay wants a seat at the London GT this weekend (September 25 to 27), the UK’s largest Warhammer tournament, with a live stream sale. So, if it’s already circled on your 2026 tournament calendar, or you’re just following the 11th Edition meta from the couch, a shop will soon be sitting right next to the dice.

Three UK Sellers Each Get a Full Day on the Stream
Every stream runs through eBay Live, with one seller taking over each day:
- Friday: Cornwall-based TheTrollTrader, 12 pm to 8 pm
- Saturday: Nottingham-based 7th City Collectibles, 10 am to 8 pm
- Sunday: Chichester-based Merlins Miniatures, 9 am to 5:30 pm
That’s a lot of hours sitting in front of a camera, so we’re guessing there are plenty of options for people looking to buy. The stock covers pretty much the whole used-miniatures spectrum too, from loose-on-sprue kits to assembled models and pre-painted minis you can put straight on the table. And having a Nottingham seller on Saturday just feels right with GW basically in the same neighborhood.
The live format might be new, but buying used plastic definitely isn’t. London GT’s Broadcast Now Has a Shop Window
It’s interesting where eBay stuck these streams too. They’re built right into London GT’s official broadcast, which goes out in three languages, so people in the UK and US can watch games and shop at the same time. Then add the 2,000-plus people expected at the event, and that’s way more eyes than a normal seller stream gets.
We haven’t seen this at a GT before, as the streams are usually tables, dice, players, and commentators. Now there’s basically a shop sitting next to all of it. So if a list starts wrecking people on Saturday, like the ones in our older London GT army lists, somebody watching at home could be looking for those models before the final round even wraps up.
100,000 Sales in a Month Is Its Own Hobby Economy
More than 100,000 Warhammer items selling on one country’s eBay site in 30 days isn’t just a few people clearing old sprues out of the closet. That’s basically a second Warhammer storefront running alongside GW, and with GW prices where they are, it’s not hard to see why players keep checking it.
If you know what the kit actually sells for, you’re less likely to pay full MSRP for somebody else’s paint job. eBay clearly noticed the trend and is getting in on the action.

If these streams actually move plastic, we doubt this stays a one-off. eBay probably isn’t doing all this for one weekend and calling it done, so if it works, you’d expect eBay, and probably some rivals, to try it again. Then we’ll see if US GTs are next.
