We’ve all been waiting for the X-Men miniatures to finally show up to Crisis Protocol and AMG just confirmed they are on the way!
It’s been a year since Atomic Mass Games announced Marvel: Crisis Protocol at Gencon. Being able to play a game based in the Marvel universe really got everyone excited and the game received glowing reviews. But the thing we’ve all been waiting for is the introduction of the mutants. And now it doesn’t seem like we’ll have to wait much longer!
In the same video, they also teased a Deadpool release but doesn’t look like we have any models for that just yet.
They announced the release on a live Twitch stream and teased a bunch of new minis. Let’s take a look at what X-Men they had to show us.
X-Men Miniatures Are Coming to Crisis Protocol
just look at the glorious sets! Every box is going to come with two models each and they paired them up in ways that make perfect sense. The reason there is no starter set with these all together, is that this is going to be an extension of the current game. Not a new game system! They didn’t go super in-depth on the stream but we were able to catch some close-ups and really see how detailed each character is. While you’re waiting for these to come out, go see what else Atomic Mass Games is up to!
Brotherhood Of Mutants
The squad is ready to wreak havoc on the non-mutant and X-Man alike! We can’t wait to get into some games with this dastardly squad.
The X-Men
The X-men never back down from a fight! They aim to save the world despite being ostracized by the masses.
They are initially releasing the main characters in the first wave and have teased more characters for some time later on. We’ll just have to wait and see who comes next!
Mutants in Action
The dynamic poses of the models make them just look so cool in any scenario! Will you be doing battle with these or just getting them for the collector aspect side of things?
Still More To Come
As we noted before, these aren’t the only releases. Since the initial release, they have already added the punisher and taskmaster to the new release schedule. I guess we’ll just have to experience Gencon and see what else they have in store for us!
