One of the most badass chapters in the 40k lore is getting White Dwarf support in December. Check out what may be next for the Flesh Tearers.
Spotted floating around the web, a picture of what will be in the next White Dwarf was spotted on the back of November’s issue. Get your chain swords ready because the Flesh Tearers may be getting a little rules boost next!
Flesh Tearers Next For White Dwarf Support
Like we said, on the back of the November White Dwarf issue, Flesh Tearers were spotted! Keep in mind that this isn’t the first time we’ve seen smaller Chapters get support. Crimson Fists got one of the better rules buffs when their support wave came out. Meanwhile, Dark Angels definitely left something to be desired. So what could be in it for the Flesh Tearers?
Gabriel Seth is at the helm of the Flesh Tearers. The Flesh Tearers have built up a reputation for being overly-brutal in combat often wailing on their allies once all the bad guys are killed off.
On the tabletop, you won’t find a more brutal melee character for the points than Gabriel Seth. At just over 130 pts, he gets five attacks with exploding 6’s to hit that does 3 damage flat. On top of that, everyone within 6″ gets to pile in and fight again on a 6+. You have to spike your rolls but the potential damage output on Flesh Tearers Chapters are incredible.
With that said, the Flesh Tearers suffer in the named character and relic department sorely. The only named character for the Flesh Tearers in Gabriel and since he’s Flesh Tearer keyworded, you can’t bring other Blood Angel dudes like Mephiston. On top of that, the only Blood Angel relic available is the Archangel’s Shard which is sub-par in every way compared to other Blood Angels relics.
Here’s to hoping that the Flesh Tearers get another melee-focused relic exclusive to themselves on top of (maybe) a new named character!

Stratagems Would Be a Great Bonus
Stratagems would also be a huge help. Flesh Tearers, in general, are more on-foot focused because they want to hang around Seth for the force multiplication. With that said, half of the Blood Angels Stratagems have to do with jump pack tricks. Looking ahead to the White Dwarf, maybe the Flesh Tearers will have some other mobility-focused Stratagems designed to get them into the fight quicker without having to bring a Jump Pack.
Looking ahead, it might be sacrilegious considering Seth’s hatred for Primaris, but who knows…He could have changed his mind and crossed the Rubicon himself.
