Obviously, these are the ones we like, and some may not be exactly up your alley! So, if we missed your favorites, let us know in the comments below.  These movies span the last 30+ years or so, and all are great fun, depending on who you may be watching with.

Just so you know, these aren’t in any particular order; they are just a bunch of great movies to check out!

Brazil

BrazilThis movie is just insane and extremely dark, so if you want to darken the holidays a little, this is the way to go. There’s a strange scene with Santa you have to see to really complete your Christmas!

Batman Returns

batman returnsThere’s a strong case for this to be the best Christmas movie ever! Penguin and Catwoman might give the best performances ever by villains in this one, so just go watch it and make your Christmas that much better!  Plus, Michelle Phifer’s whip stunt was done in one take, so be sure to pay attention when that comes up!

Eyes Wide Shut

Eyes wide shutThis is an actual anti-Christmas Christmas movie that uses the holiday more as a backdrop. Still, it’s worth a watch and has plenty of holiday imagery!

Things to Come

things to comeThis H.G. Wells classic doesn’t say much about Christmas, but it does portray the final Christmas for Mankind, so if you’re feeling sci-fi and apocalyptic, this is for you!

The Nightmare Before Christmas

nightmare before ChristmasWhat’s there we can say about this one that hasn’t already been said? Just go watch it and enjoy!

Home Alone

home aloneThis movie is beyond nostalgic for anyone who is between the ages of alive and 90. This is a great one for watching with kids or just by yourself.

Lethal Weapon

Lethal WeaponIf Die Hard is a Christmas movie, then this is one too! That’s all there is to say about this one.

Die Hard

Die HardThis might be everyone’s favorite choice to scream about being a Christmas movie, so obviously, it’s on here!

Krampus

krampusIf you need a little scare in your life, then this is right up your alley!

Bad Santa

bad santaWhy is this on here? It has some action, but most importantly, it’s ridiculous and rips Christmas a new one.

Gremlins

This has to be one of the greatest Christmas movies ever made, and just fun to watch every year!

Fatman

fatmanThis is a little newer, so we won’t spoil much. Just know it’s an insane Mel Gibson movie.

Kiss Kiss Bang Bang

kiss kiss, bang bangThere is some debate whether this is a proper Christmas movie, but hey, Robert Downey Jr. and Val Kilmer!

Jingle All the Way

jingle all the wayDo you see the two actors in the poster? What more do you need than Anakin and Arnold in a Christmas movie? How about Sinbad fighting Arnold and pretending the mail is full of bombs? If you have or haven’t seen it, watch it again this holiday!
