The new Adeptus Custodes Combat Patrol box contains a decent number of minis, but what kind of value is inside the box?
Remember, these are mostly designed for new players to the factions, just like the current Start Collecting Sets that GW introduced back in 2016. They are being marketed as a quick way to get a small force on the table and play some small games right away. Most times, the starter-style kits are a pretty good value, so even if you have some Custodes already, this could be a decent value.

Adeptus Custodes Combat Patrol: What is the Value?
Following on from the events of Shadow Throne, the perfidious Genestealer Cultists and the Talons of the Emperor are mustering Combat Patrols to continue their respective missions across the Imperium. You’ll be able to prepare for these campaigns with Codex: Adeptus Custodes and Codex: Genestealer Cults, which are both packed full of thematic rules like devastating crossfire, and peerless battle stances.
Just to note, we’re going to assume this will stay at the $140 price point as everyone has been the same price so far. Let’s check out what this will save you:

Is The Adeptus Custodes Combat Patrol Worth It?
Well, this doesn’t have the highest value we’ve seen, but pretty close to a lot of the boxes and still decent for the price. However, with such a strong focus on the Sisters of Silence, if you don’t want them, this isn’t really for you.
If you need the models inside then it does save you a decent amount of cash and will get you a lot of minis for fairly cheap.
