Here’s the new Warhammer 40k Drukhari Combat Patrol box contents list, release date, rules, value, and pricing in our updated Dark Eldar savings breakdown!

If you’ve been waiting for a Drukhari Combat Patrol that makes sense on the 40k table and on your receipt, we’ve got the breakdown.

This breakdown covers what’s in the box, when it dropped, how the 40k Combat Patrol rules line up with the units inside, and what the price looks like compared to grabbing each kit separately. No hand-wavy “value” fluff here, just the math, the savings, and the honest take on who this box actually works for, and who should keep raiding the secondary market for the old OOP gem instead.

Drukhari 40k Combat Patrol Box Review

drukhari combat patrol product shot

This Combat Patrol is basically the Haemonculus’ starter kit: a Coven core that wants to wade in, get messy, and let the pain engines do the heavy lifting. For these games, the Drukhari Combat Patrol rules let you run the box as a self-contained list straight out of the gate, with Wracks up front, the Talos and Cronos bringing the real hurt, and the Haemonculus grinning like he owns the place.

Drukhari Combat Patrol Price By Region: $170 (US) $200 (Canada) $285 (Australia) £100 (UK) €130 (EU)

Models Unit Name Value
10 Wracks  $60
2 Talos/Cronos $130 ($65 for 1)
1 Haemonculus $32
 Combat Patrol: Drukhari
  Total MSRP: $222
  Savings Versus Box Price: $52

Is the Drukhari Combat Patrol Worth It?

Combat Patrol Drukhari

In short, maybe… This is on the extremely low end of the value compared to the rest of the combat Patrols. Then, the old box had almost the highest value of any Combat Patrol we’ve seen. Plus, that old box had a great mix of units with a Raider and a Ravager.

This will save you some cash and let you get some Coven units on the table for cheaper, but compared to the last box, this feels like a downgrade. If you need everything inside and want to throw Coven down on the table, it’s okay.

If you don’t want even a single unit inside, we would pass.

If you can find the old out-of-print (OOP) box on the secondary market for a decent deal, we would probably pick that up instead. Unless, of course, all you want are Coven units.

What Can You Play Out of the Box? (Combat Patrol Rules vs 40k Points)

Combat Patrol is its own format, so points are not the main event. If you’re dragging this box into a standard 40k game, though, the Drukhari Combat Patrol clocks in at around 350 points based on the current contents, with the usual caveat that points updates can nudge that number around.

What to Buy Next After The Drukhari Combat Patrol

Scourges

The Combat Patrol gives you a solid Coven core, but your Wracks aren’t surviving long walks across the battlefield; grab a Raider or Venom first. From there, you can either stack more Talos and Grotesques for a true wall of nightmare flesh or branch into Kabalites and Wyches for a faster, more balanced raid. Of course, you can never go wrong with Scourges for more firepower.

Adding these units turns your force from a Coven sideshow into a proper raiding party. With the right mix of speed, firepower, and pain engines, you’ll have your opponents begging for it to be over.

Plus, if you can find the new Realspace Raiders Battleforce, that would be a solid pickup as well.

OOP 2021 Combat Patrol Contents and Value Comparison:

The OOP 2021 Drukhari Combat Patrol is the one people still drag into arguments because the savings were way chunkier, assuming you actually wanted every kit. Here’s the quick contents and value comparison so you can judge it without the nostalgia goggles, or the Copium.

10 Kabalite Warriors  $45
5 Incubi  $62.50

Final Thoughts On the Drukhari Combat Patrol

Drukhai combat patrol product shot warhammer 40k with info box

This new Drukhari box might not hit as hard in the value department as its Warhammer 40k combat patrol predecessor, but it still sets you up with a creepy Coven core ready to cause trouble. Add a few key units, and suddenly you’ve got a raiding force that looks the part and plays nasty on the table.

Whether you’re here for the Wracks, the Talos, or just to watch your Haemonculus cackle while opponents squirm, this box gets you in the game fast, but there are better values out there…
