Wondering what you should buy next for Warhammer 40k? Don’t miss Marneus Calgar and Haarken Worldclaimer unboxed and reviewed!

Come and see the new and improved Marneus Calgar now that Games Workshop has decided to give him the Primerus upgrade. He brings with him two battle brothers and a new foe to the Imperium of Man.

Let’s crack these two new kits open and get these miniatures ready for the tabletop so you can decide if they are worth your hobby dollars.

Up first we get to see the latest bane of the Imperium, Haarken Worldclaimer. This miniature looks great with his dynamic lunging pose with his spear at the ready. Haarken is packed with detail and we hope to see more great looking Chaos releases going forward from GW.

In our unboxing video below Rob goes over the rules for this new character and some great ways to use him on the tabletop.

Up next we get a peek at the new and improved Marneus Calgar and his two battle bros. Marneus himself tales up most of the bits, 27 to be exact, the entirety of the sprue on the left and four bits from the sprue on the right.

That being said Marneus looks great and is packed with all the detail that this multi-part mini can muster. The two Honor Guard models that come in this kit have some computer slices in their capes so you might want to get some Vallejo Plastic Putty ready to create a seamless look.

However, that’s enough about bits and sprues let’s see what these minis will look like on the tabletop.

Here they are ready for a fresh coat of paint. These new miniatures look great and will not disappoint on the battlefield.
