If you’ve been itching to get a game in but haven’t been able to because of social isolation to you can take your cravings online with Tabletop Simulator. The game title speaks for itself.

It’s a heavily modded community game where you can play just about anything tabletop…but virtually including Warhammer 40k. Now, there’s more to do online with this massive 40k ITC league by Tactical Tortoise!

40k ITC Online League In Full Swing: Here’s How To Join!

All you need is to have Tabletop Simulator and the Discord app on your PC and you’re ready to rock and roll.  Over on his YouTube channel, Tactical Tortoise shows you in a video on how to join the league.


Here’s what you’ll have to do:

  • Join their 4-week 40k ITC tournament pod on Discord. (you ask to join a pod in a channel and they’ll throw you in a group of 16 people where you’ll be swiss paired to do matches).
  • Brush up on your ITC 2020 rules as that’s the format being used.
  • Download the ITC Ruins map pack for TTS (this will be the terrain used in-game).

tabletop simulator 40kOnce your games start rolling, the top three players in each pod will be invited to the season’s invitational tournament to crown the GREATEST VIRTUAL 40k PLAYER IN THE WORLD.

If You Want To Watch The Games (Pods)

If you want to watch the games unfold and a full break down of the way these lists work, Tactical Tortoise has been covering some of the heavy-hitters in the league currently. You can check out an even deeper look at what some of the current top players are running in their lists as well from the Patreon page.

This is another awesome opportunity to test out some units that you were debating shelling out the $$$ for IRL. With this league steadily growing, being open to anyone, we’re sure there will be some fierce competition.
