The original voice actor of Cortana is joining the cast of the Halo TV series on Showtime, that we didn’t even know was coming!
After some uncertainty, the Halo TV series is back underway and beginning to resume production. This comes along with some huge news regarding the original voice and actor of Cortana in both Halo and Windows OS is joining the cast after previously having a scheduling conflict.
Original Cortana Voice Actor Joins Halo TV Series
Windows made a pretty cool effort when creating their virtual assistant by bringing on the voice actor from the Halo series as well. Now the full cycle is full circle as Jen Taylor is able to rejoin the cast of the upcoming TV show. In a weird sort of way, the delays are actually to thank, originally she had scheduling conflicts, but now her time was freed up, and was able to reprise her role!
Considering how far and wide her voice is known to people who might not even think they know her, having a separate actor for the show would have been a bummer. This change however might just be a slight boost that the show could have used!
There’s not much on the table in terms of timelines, but it is certainly in production and being worked on!
