Updated Size & Pricing: Adeptus Titanicus Warmaster

warmaster-titan-adeptus-titanicusPricing is here, so it’s time to take a look at the Warmaster Titan in Adeptus Titanicus, and the sizing compared to other models!

Well, after looking at the pre-order over the weekend, this is definitely going to be a centerpiece for your army! And, it’s going to have the size to back it up, as well as all the guns. Be sure to check out all the new rules for this behemoth that were revealed when it was first announced.

For now, let’s see just how big this bad boy is going to be, and what it will cost you!

Size & Pricing of the Adeptus Titanicus Warmaster Titan

warmaster scaleWe’re sure you’ve seen this pic before, but it is quite larger than the actual Warlord, which is already very large! And in-game it’s going to cost double what the Warlord does with even more weaponry and rules. When you consider the Warlord Titan is $110, the price tag of $160 is about where we expected. We guessed anywhere from $150-$170, so it’s right in the middle.

Size Comparisons

Knight Size ComparisonsYou may be wondering why we’re showing you a 40k Knight, but it’s because the Warmaster in Titanicus Scale appears to be about as big as a 40k Imperial Knight- at least going by those images above!

Now check out the 170 mm oval base the knight above is on, whereas the Warmaster looks to be on a 150 mm (below) because he is basically bursting out of it…

Warmaster Heavy Battle Titan sizeGW finally released a pic of just how big this is going to be in-game, and wow, it’s gigantic! When you compare it to the chart above, it actually looks pretty close to the real scale. In another post they gave a few more details about the size.

Warmaster SizeThe Warlord Titan is 33 Meters tall in the lore and comes in at around 2 feet tall in 40k game terms. This stands another 7.9 meters higher in actual height above the Warlord.

Size of the Warmaster in AT

Knight Size Comparisons 2Since the Warmaster is about as tall as the top carapace of the Imperial Knight, at about 6-1/2″. Now consider this, at 5-1/2″ tall, the Warlord (right) stands at 22″ as a 40k model from Forge World. That’s exactly 1/4 scale. The price also makes sense when you compare it to the Knight, as they all run right around that $160 mark.

So at full scale, the Warmaster Titan could stand an impressive 26″ if Forge World produced it in 40k scale…

Price Point

Warmaster titanicus 1With this being bigger than the Warlord for $110, the $160 price point really isn’t anything too crazy and is right around where we expected it to be. But you can really only include one in an army for the most part, so this will be the main centerpiece to anchor your forces around. So for the price, it’s not a terrible deal in terms of game price.

Could it come to 40k?

warmaster full modelIf they have this 3D rendered and want to make it in resin, there is no reason they couldn’t bring it to 40k! If you’ve built both the AT Warlord and the 40k one, they are basically the same thing just one scaled-down with certain pieces taken out that don’t scale down well (like the underarm pistons).

So, they could very well do the opposite hear and just scale this up. If they did, it should be right around the 26″ (6 1/2″ x 4)  mark, a full four inches bigger than the 40k Warlord titan. That would make this basically the tallest GW kit ever, and we bet it would run you at least $3,000 (!) If it was more than that though, we wouldn’t be too surprised.

Either way, it would be massive and more resin than you could imagine!

Are you excited about this new Titan? Would you ever buy it if they scaled it up?
