Come see all the new rumored Adeptus Mechanicus new releases for 9th edition 40k, and what their prices may be.
Spotted on Reddit it looks like the word may be out on what the new 9th Edition 40k Ad Mech releases are, but when they will arrive is still a mystery.
RUMORS: Adeptus Mechanicus New Releases & Prices
The prices were listed in AUD, but with a little work, we can reverse engineer them to US prices and check to see if they are consistent with previous 40k releases. Supposedly these were originally going to come at the end of April, however, due to GW slowing new releases, we will have to wait a few weeks before the Ad Mech (or any faction) gets new releases.
Here is the quote from Rook8875:
I’ve been lucky enough to receive the information on what the orders will be, as well as the initial shipping + release dates (which don’t correspond with the standard release dates).
Anyway, the initial preorder date was the 24th, and the release was not the 1st of May, but the 30th of April (yep a Friday) to make sure it was an April release.
Here are the contents and prices in AUD;
- Combat Patrol $230.00
-
Skitarii Marshall $49.00
-
Codex Adeptus Mechanicus $84.00
-
Datacards Adeptus Mechanicus $40
-
Warhammer 40000: Adeptus Mechanicus Dice $55.00
Now we can pretty easily check all the prices by finding things that are the same prices in AUD and then simply checking the price of the items in USD.

After doing this for each item, we’ve found each of the respective USD prices:
- Combat Patrol $230.00 AUD -> $140 USD (Combat Patrol Deathguard)
-
Skitarii Marshall $49.00 AUD -> $30 USD (Chaos Space Marine Sorcerer)
-
Codex Adeptus Mechanicus $84.00 AUD -> $50 USD (Codex: Space Marines)
-
Datacards Adeptus Mechanicus $40 AUD -> $25 USD (Datacards: Space Marines)
-
Warhammer 40000: Adeptus Mechanicus Dice $55.00 AUD -> $35 USD (Drukhari Dice set)
By looking up comparable listings we actually find that all of these prices seem to match up exactly with current counterparts. However, we’re not the only ones that know this pricing trick, so as usual take these rumors with a grain of salt.
