Games Workshop just unveiled another rumor engine and this time it looks like some sort of weapon is being held.
Check out the details of the latest model that looks to be on the way for 40k or AoS from Warhammer Community.
New Space Marine Scouts? New GW Rumor Engine
This engine really has two clear possibilities. First, it could be some melee weapon overhead, or second, it could be upsidedown and actually be a heavy weapon (like the pose below)!
Either of these could be for Aos or 40k, but that’s definitely a human hand.
There are plenty of good examples for models that need updating carrying heavy weapons like this, so that is a good sign for potential answers to this week’s rumor engines. However it isn’t a clear shot, there are still plenty of possibilities, namely a new random melee weapon.
Both possibilities can be for models across the spectrum. Chaos in both AoS and 40k, (as we recently heard of new cultists human-style rumors) Space Marines, Imperial Guard, Empire is AoS, Kharadron Overlords in AoS, Necromunda… the list goes on.
If this truly is a heavy weapons bit in disguise, it is most likely a flamer or plasma due to the tubing, however, it also makes it much more likely to be a 40k bit. If it is a melee bit, it is equally likely to be either AoS or 40k.
